if you're going to trade Tedesco, now is the week to do it. Definitely misses this week. Given his concussion history and the Rooster's caution with concussions I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up missing next week too.

Selling DCE smacks of something you'll regret.

In reality, he's had 1 poor score, to go with 1 excellent core and 2 that meet expectations. Every chance you trade him our for SJ to score 40 and DCE to get an 80+.
As someone sideways trading Hopgood to get Cleary in though, not sure I am in much position to criticise a sideways trade

i agree dce to sj is the classic fantasy mistake waiting to happen but with my rank of 19k it's the kind of risk you have to take to gain some traction

K.Nik is probably the play this week for quick cash, but I'm avoiding. I.Katoa the slow-burner for mine (if I was grabbing a Dolphins half).
I needed to boost my Mids (Tohu was a killer), so Ford & Cheese are in for Trindall & Sutton (who is possibly my biggest disappointment in terms of initial team set-up) he just isn't getting the minutes I thought he would once Thompson went down.

$278k ITB for that beautiful man from the Shire next week.

I don't actually live in the Shire though, appreciated all the same

That's just not true mate. If anything owning DCE and not SJ will give you the potential to climb the ranks quicker rather than trading a big POD to highly owned SJ at likely peak price. I'd listen to Milch

    Hopgood averages 64

    Cleary averages 70

Point being that the potential money lost on trading Carty and Hopgood can be negated somewhat by the likely increase in price of Cleary over the next few rounds. He's likely not gonna be this low in price at any other point this season.
Also no guarantee Carty/Hopgood come close to their season averages and make that much more money.

No guarantee Cleary averages 6 more than this season's average either though.

This is true but he has more of a track record of decent scoring than the other two and I am not expecting another 37 to drag down his average.

I dunno, I'd say that you're the most reliable opponent to the mere mention of Tom Starling on this forum.

JD talks about how Murray came back straight after half time last week as Host shoulder was troubling him a bit. The plan was to have him off a bit longer.

Also talks about Tatola being back and getting our middles back soon ie Arrow will allow us to give Murray a breather and Tom re managing their mins. Id expect Murray to get back 60-65mins when Arrow is back.

I'm not seeing any reason why Hopgood couldn't have the same bench role and scoring as Matterson did last season. Averaged 59 in 51 minutes. Lots of offloads, a few TBs, high work rate.

Lukeayee is a simple man that just wants Tom Starling at 0% ownership, and Hopgood at 0% captaincy

Its certainly possible. And this week with no Paulo its probably likely

Bit at his current price there's not really much value there, other than bye coverage, but there is the risk that he doesn't quite get the minutes, especially when Paulo comes back next week.
Certainly not an urgent sell, but if you can move him on to Cleary/Hynes/genuine gun then just thank him for the cash and send him on his way

But it's an online community where people will have different views all of which are as valid as the other and all of which deserve to have the piss taken out of them just as much as the other.

Posts lack the nuance of first person interaction where you can tell if someone is emotionally equipped to have the piss taken out of them so sometimes discretion is the better part of valour.

On a side note let's not romanticise Rabbit... he was great fun to have around but he could be a massive prick when things weren't going his way.

Life observation : It's always the so called 'hard men' who are the first to cry bully when they get pulled up on being a shit bloke (Edit : not directed at anyone here but I usually think it whenever I hear the word bully thrown around)

Definetly the best attitude to have imo. This place is an online community of people that share a common interest. There is a general voice/opinon driven through a group of main posters that add a lot of value and tend to help the less experienced people out, there are posters that offer a different view and they are important to get out of that group think/echo chamber. Everyone brings something, even if its just being part of the broader community.

Honestly, I wish I posted more and was helpful but I can be time poor. Always appreciate how much advice you legends dish out. But even when I'm not posting I love having a read and a laugh, especially during games.

I do BIG agree with the fact that a lot of subtlety can be lost in text, sometimes its hard to interpret sarcasm or a bad attempt at humor. Some people do just want to stir shit for a laugh though. Also, Rabs was never that interesting - I miss BluesClues (BloozCluez? BluezCluez???)

If you use a magic number of 13,000 Hopgood is currently priced at 56 points and makes him an EDG keeper for the season if he hits that as an average.

In the key bye rounds you would expect him to play huge minutes each week with other key forwards missing.

Those that are looking at trading him out, are you planning to trade in other Eels to play the key bye rounds ahead of round 13?
