There is no way Greig should be in your 13 for R13 when there’s a plethora of MIDs for R13. There’s probably 10-15 better MIDs available

His only 30+ min games were with Paulo suspension but still only around 25 points

This assumes I'm going to use trades to get players for every position to make 13. Currently only have 6 players so could easily take a 20pt mid who is cash out

Break even of 52 and is losing cash quick. Talent is there and in the Roosters backline will hit a purple patch no doubt when they click into gear mid to end season like they have done recently.

Obviously Origin dependent but if he doesn't make it could be very cheap and a perfect 18th/19th man who offers dual position.

I reckon if he returns to 2022 form, most will over origin

Just depends is Horse keeps the big minute role though.. no idea why Tapine didn't keep it after how destructive he was last year

Surprised to not see Gutho mentioned as an alternative to Drinkwater. I trust his scoring way more and if Moses misses time you get a huge boost in scoring

Could you bring in JDB instead for Cotter? Or do you already have him.

I personally think Cotter is shoe-in for Origin this year based on how he went last year - His form hasn't been terrible as well.

If a Cowboy was to miss it, I think it would have to be Nanai imo.
Dont really want JDB, seems like a bit of a plodder. Potentially the same output as Cotter but so boring to watch compared to the Reuben. No doubt Cotter will be likely for Origin, but with Carrigan at 13 (no doubt in my mind about that), Tino and Papalii/Welch up front, Capewell/Kaufusi/Fifita on the edges, plus Gilbert/Arrow/Horse in the mix, I really don't think Cotter is a shoe-in.

Agree Nanai misses out for sure, hoping Cotter does to (but not holding my breath).

All those bringing in Brandon Smith this week.

Just note that he played an extra 10 mins this week then he generally will.

He got subbed off and victor radley went to hooker, pretty well straight after that radley got binned and the roosters were forced to bring cheese back on as they had no hooker.

    Set on:

    AKP -> Bula
    Katoa -> Manu

as my first two trades. The question is just what (if anything) to do with the third trade. I'm tossing up between:

    a) Loiero -> Lane. Don't particularly want to sell Loiero now with more cash to make, but there's an opportunity here to upgrade to a R13 gun.
    b) Alamoti -> Drinkwater. Drinky's lost a ton of cash and looks a good underpriced shout for R13, probably time to move on from Alamoti.
    c) Alamoti -> Sipley. Sipley looks tempting if he keeps that role, averaging 46.5 when he's played 40-50 mins in the past. Another R13 option too.
    d) Talau -> Granville. Talau doesn't look like doing much even now he's back, clear out a dead spot and get a bit of cash gen going hopefully.

Think I'm leaning D at this stage, clear out some dead weight.

Are you assuming Radley doesn’t get sinbinned this week?

Wait, so E Katoa is going to miss the Storm next game right?

Because that's 11 days only just occurred to me

Good call I guess, but personally I wouldn't be bringing someone in in the hope their scoring improves when a player gets injured because it may never happen?

Yes I believe so, magic round game 11 days from Anzac Day game. Just not being fussed about as much in NRL as warriors players because it’s only 1 game he misses. Fantasy purposes it’s 2 rounds out though

    8. Tino
    9. Hunt
    10. Welch
    11. Kaufusi
    12. Capewell
    13. Carragin
    14. Grant
    15. Cotter
    16. Fifita
    17. Collins/Papali'i
    18. Collins/Papali'i

I take my back 'shoe in comment'. Lot's of depth in the forwards this year. That would be my rough QLD forward pack based on current form and injuries.

Slater has only coached origin for one series, I'd expect him to remain loyal to the incumbents. Unlike fittler.
