Matterson will be back next week taking more minutes at MID. I would avoid

Lemeulu and Horse are the most annoying ones for me
Had Horse traded in and reversed (which wasn’t a disaster because Nikorima scored 43). Never picked Lemeulu up because I had Bird and Alamoti when he got starting spot, and now have Bird and Manu so I thought I could hold off until after R11 bye
He has great bye schedule and will obviously now skyrocket in price in R10, but seems silly to buy before R11 bye

10 players in 2 games? Can I ask who you have please?
Fortitude wrote:I swear I heard Ricky say in an interview about 3/4 weeks ago sayin the game plan was always for horse to be playing high minutes. The first few weeks were to ease him in due with proper match fitness after what was his first proper full preseason.
I don’t think there is much chance of him dropping minutes to what he getting now

Pre-season the plan was for Matt Doorey to play high minutes
A couple of years ago Junior Paulo was going to increase his minutes too
I'm sure there's plenty of other examples, its a bit like training the house down, its just something coaches say in pre-season fluff articles

I'd play Granny as I reckon Couch gets 20mins max

Think it was after broncos game. Where horse played 70, after only playing 30 for the rounds before. Having now played a 70 for the two games after, with no obvious raider injury minus tapine out for broncos, I’d hardly consider this a pre season fluff article.
I’m sure there are plenty of examples where the coaches position matches the outcome as well, we just don’t hang in to them because we aren’t sooking about fantasy outcomes.
Doorey minutes with the para pack should never have been considered concrete, way too much going on and Doorey hardly a player with enough experience to know what you’re going to get.

Everything is obvious in hindsight
But in his 4 previous seasons in first grade Horsbrough has never played more than 60 minutes in the middle. Even now he's just got his best ever fantasy score, on the back of doubling his career try assist tally and tripling the number of offloads he's made this year. Whilst he's no doubt going to get good scores for as long as he is starting lock, yesterday was at the higher end of them
Ricky Stuart is also probably 2nd only to Robinson in his willingness to rotate his forwards around. Get a few losses and anything could change. 2 weeks ago how many people would genuinely expect Horse to be playing more minutes than Tapine

I also try to be vague until rounds end because you inevitably end up with a 2nd minute HIA (eg final game last week)
