I have all 4 + Fifita, Hynes, Manu, SJ - Just working out the next pieces of the puzzle to fit in around them to try to stay a step ahead.

    Very nice.

I have Cook, Fifita, Manu, SJ and planning on Horse and NAS this week (though I am planning to sell Cook to Robson in R13 or earlier if Robson bottoms out earlier and Cook keeps dropping)

Muz/Walsh to Horse/NAS leaves me about 220k bank so I will be able to make other moves if I need to, just waiting and seeing what I can get (though I would prefer to bank trades if I can)

He went off field for HIA, haven't heard that he actually failed it? Sounds like it was for neck not concussion anyway.

I dunno, I’m pretty lost here.

I don't get the negativity you go on with.
I scored 860 and went up 400 odd ranks to 5200. Is that a shit score or a good result??

Evening all had not a great round but a solid one got 884 with rank a tad up from 713 to 707 overall.

Ended up selling Grant for Cheese, Warbrick to Teddy and Turbo to AJ. Will target Robson upcoming. Had to play I. Katoa, Alamoti, S. Luke in my 17 this week with no Haas or Loiero so took a bit of a hit there. Do not have Hynes, Fifita, Hopgood etc…

Positives were Boyd still making good money, JDB brained it, SJ 54 and Warriors didn’t score a point, Lemu was a big standout and Manu.

Early thoughts are Alamoti to Bula and maybe Preston to Horse or Hopgood. Thing putting me off Hopgood is what someone’s posted he avg about 49 with Matto in the side. Thing putting me off Horse is well it’s Ricky but I’ll likely get one of them.

Well done to all that cracked 900 plus. Well done Booze mate 1100 and odd fucking outstanding mate and  well deserved.

Doom and glooooommmm…..scored 883 and only dropped 30 places to around 160. Not bad all things considered with Haas and Grant on the bench and no Hynes.

    Not considering any major surgery.

Great work all those fanatics gunning it near the pointy end cheer

NAS may miss round 13 but he plays every other round until round 19, while guys like Matto miss two games in that timeframe (14 and 18).

I think it's now or never on him, EKat not available should mean he plays more on the edge (my guess is they name someone like Eisenhuth there but NAS actually plays on the edge), and he's running directly at none other than Jacob Host.

We saw on ANZAC Day how important he is to the team's go forward, so I think he's nailed on for at least 55-60 minutes if not more. We looked absolutely fucked until he got on the field and he just started beasting right away.

NAS is in great form. As said by others, the forgotten MID and probably the new POD. I'll see how TLT plays out but as you said, it's now or never to get him. Can bank some cash too to use during origin as needed.

I saw your comments re: Horse. I think he may get a look in. Depends if Billy is loyal to Cotter's one game or not. Nanai ban also opens up a door (although don't think he deserves a call up - form has been poor)..

    17 Horse/Gilbert/Cotter

Horse probably misses out as it stands but he's pretty much next in line.

Yeah, nothing major for me either. Only thing I was considering is Walsh for Drinkwater. Walsh probably gets Origin for mine, but even if he doesn't, I've ridden the Broncos' easy run, they have it a bit more difficult now and he could start losing cash quickly.

100k difference from him to Drinky for probably the same scoring and better byes. Any other R13/16 backs worth considering other than Drinky and Guth?

Horse probably misses out as it stands but he's pretty much next in line.

I think Cotter, Papalii, Arrow, Collins and Gilbert are all ahead of Horse since all of them have played Origin before and have excelled at that level.

Could be a situation where one of these 5 guys plays Origin, gets injured in game 1 (or concussed badly) and then gets dropped for Horse in game 2.

Either way, game 1 is all that matters for Horse, since he misses round 16 anyway (bye) so as long as he isn't selected in game 1, he's good (and even if he does make it, odds are he's made enough money to sell for Matto/Tapine/whoever)

Good point and agree 100%. Going to see what I can do to get both NAS and Horse in this week. Pretty sure it can be done without depleting the team too much. Appreciate the insight!

It's true that Game One is all that matters for Horse. I have him, don't think he should be in the first five mids in QLD's pecking order, but am a bit worried that Billy Slater has made positive noises about him.

On a similar tack, Game Two is what matters for Hynes. If NSW don't pick Hynes and they lose, then there'll be a clamour for game two and it'd be pretty hard to justify buying him during the byes. If they win then it'll be safe to pick him up. (Obviously a risk that he averages 90 in the next three weeks, but that's annoying rather than terminal.)
