Side note - how did he not get pulled out of the game after the helmet-helmet hit? Dude was in space. [/quote]
Which one? Got sniped in the head about half a dozen times.

Don't think our No.1 receiver going down with an ACL tear is finding a way to lose, we killed the chiefs on 3rd down with Allen and were deflated after he got injuredryno_ wrote:Classic Chargers, always find a way to lose. Winston looks in good form already. Raiders/Saints D looks atrocious again. Good signs in Jax.

6-6 on 3rd down with Allen 1-8 without him, kid is a monster at moving the chains and opening up for others, you think Pittsburgh can do the same without Brown? Or Falcons with Jones? Seeing your teammate go down and crying getting carted off has a massive effect!ryno_ wrote:
You were up 21-3 at halftime and winning by 17 points in the 4th quarter - shouldnt matter how many knees your WR1 has at that point. You should be able to control possession and run the clock down from that position.

We looked good week one against the Vikings last year as well. When Hyde gets injured were screwed.leaguegod wrote:niners baby! tied for the lead in the division
*getting in before we get pummeled by carolina this week*
being serious tho, it was a good win, we look ok on both lines of scrimmage (o-line very impressive against a strong rams D line)
Our passing game will suck and when we play better teams, it will be to much pressure on our D/running game leading to a few blow outs but we'll stick with some other teams

oh make no mistake, we still finish were anywhere from 4-6 wins, we have serious holes but the D is on the up, solid secondary, good rotation up front with promising young players and bowman still controlling everything in the middle, lynch is back week 5 too
the passing game will be a disaster, kerley may lead us in receiving, he was the 5th WR at detroit a few weeks ago lol and we will have to deal with bad QB play all year. we will not win many games because of it but just gotta hope the other areas continue to show reasonably well, hopefully head into next offseason with less needs then we entered last off season
leaguegod wrote:pretty spot on, pass rush should improve, Lynch is a good pass rusher (and still only 23, so hopefully still growth there) and back week 5, we have spent 2 first in last 2 years on DE, Armstead certainly starting to show what he can do but its certainly something i see us struggling with at points during the year against stronger O-lines.
Our defenses main problem will be time of possession, Philly under chip kelly always came in 32nd, considering our offense is worse then any he had in philly (our QB and receiver group is by far the worst in the league), it will put alot of pressure on our D and that will certainly see them struggle at times. i can still see us getting a few huge scores put on us.

They have done it, promise so much, wonder if this year will be any different for the Jets.
