i imagine 85%+ of his owners will get a W this week, huge boost

non contract injury, so everyone knew it was bad right away

he had a really nice First few drives, was actually rock solid on 3rd downs, he completely fell apart after that tho, he is trying to manage games early but when we get behind, his limitations become obvious.

Youve got Matty Ice and CJ - thats a fair hint haha.

Im headed to 2-2 but i was 2nd overall in points for before this round, so im happy enough with how im travelling. Over achieved last season.

Saw whispers on twitter about SD trying to trade Rivers. Not a bad idea, if they can convince him to give up his trade veto clause to uproot him, his wife and their 18 kids. They need to rebuild and a team like the Jets are a decent QB away from playoffs.

For fuck sake! End the season now and take me to LA!! Don't care if we become Kronenkes bitch, need a fresh start from San Diego! Verrett the latest to go down with a season ender, tough SOB playing on a partially torn ACL which explains him getting dicked by Hilton last week, holding Cooks to 3 for 31 this week is impressive with that injury! The knock out of college was his size and durability and that is already rearing its head with him! Devastated again!

There are 32 players on IR in the AFC West. 18 are from SD.

Thats a shocking run of injuries - I wonder if the conditioning staff are feeling the heat or if its just a purple patch of tears?

with stanton coming to town on a short week, we had a really good chance for a win here but our QB is just so hopeless, one good drive but the rest of the game was disgusting, argh

stanton had 2td/0pics but he was as awful as advertised, about 4 yards per attempt, terrible completion rate and still quite easily outplayed his opposition

Kaep may not be what us niner fans hoped he would be but he has got to be better then this and even if we draft a QB early next year, we're gonna net one of these 2 to hang around for a season and i do not want that to be blaine

Really, I would rather keep Yo Gabba Gabba than Kap. That may be just because I dont like Kaepernick that much. The only shining light in the 49ers right now is Hyde though.

conditioning staff and team DR have always been under the spotlight in SD, just nothing ever done about it, much like Newcastle utd in the EFL had a terrible run of injuries over 3/4 years, team never questioned...now Rafa Benitiez has changed all back staff and nothing serious or mildly worrying since last year

are Atlanta the NFC's best atm ? about to pull of a huge win against Denver

Vikings are 5-0, their defense is top 3 in the league and they are going to the playoffs but i just can't see that offense getting to the superbowl

Eagles, cowboys and seattle all looking ok early aswell but geez the atlanta offense has been impressive lately

Just have memories of the Falcons last season, huge collapse. But they look food. Esp with both Coleman and Freeman in the backfield firing.

i've had it up to here with ballke!!

for kaep to become starter they had to get rid of the injury guarantees and restructured the deal and gave him a player option for next season

so basically, we're hoping he fails and we don't care that he walks

because if he plays well, we look like absolute retards, restructuring a deal so that he can start and then walk a few months later, bizarre

The injury guarantee was largely irrelevant with the cap space we had anyway, all that cash and fa free agent signings. I think it was RYNO told me after watching my first game how bad Kaep is and I've seen nothing to prove him wrong.

there is a lot of stuff Kaep does poorly, main 3 are probably

    * locks into primary receiver far to quickly, can miss open guys because of it
    * poor accuracy, particuarly in short (>10 yards) Routes
    * Poor pocket awareness, takes alot of sacks

he is most certainly a below average QB but i still think he is a top 30 QB and therefore atleast starter quality, i can't say that about Blaine. Kaeps Legs can create big plays but he also has a huge arm, we pay torrey smith big money and he is a one trick pony, kaep can actually work with that tho, Gabbert can't hit him long

Sounds like something Id say. He's stuck in the college mentality of getting the ball to an already open man, instead of throwing the ball to make his receiver open. Its not college where you have athletic WRs picking on CBs who have a long career as a used car salesman ahead of them when they graduate - CBs can hold their own in the pros.

Im not a Kaep fan at all. For every first down he'll get with his legs, he'll lose 2 with his arm. Maybe itll open more holes for Hyde, with defences having to respect the long ball... but now they dont need to worry about the short pass because 9ers fans have 10 games of whoever their TE is now trying to catch a 95mph fast ball to the chest from 5 yards away.

Sure, he'll probably have a few plays that NObody else could pull off. But they'll be at least a dozen that ANYbody else could pull off.

Im not sure if Atlanta have the defence to win but theyll take a first round bye without much trouble. Big test this week, Seattle and Denver back-to-back is a tough pair of games. We've seen that their offence can put up points on good defences, but their defence let a rookie QB in his first start stay within 1 score. I dont think thats sustainable through playoffs.

But they look the goods now. Panthers are a shell of last year @ 1-4, albeit with a very hard schedule.

Don't say that too loudly @Revraiser, @Welshy may get his hopes up only to have the Chuggers find some way to choke again in the dying moments of the game.

12 penalties for 103 yards + a safety vs 3 penalties for 20 yards. Hard to win against that.

Offence did a good job in the second half to keep us in it but too little too late. Defence played well enough again, conceded bugger all yards and enough points that the offence should have been able to win. Just couldnt. Time in possession first half was something like 9 or 10 minutes. Cant win like that.
