Typical Chargers, can't finish either. You cannot allow that kind of penetration on a field goal try. well done mate and good luck for season

Gotsis had a great game. Almost defense MVP. Top 3 on the park, straya represent.

Gordon and Bosa had a good game, lots of pressure on our QB.

See you in 6 weeks in LA!

just gutted getting that close and then that happens at the death, minus the run game we led in most offensive categories kept Sanders and Thomas really quiet, keep Von silent....multiple sacks for our D but still nothing! Going to be a quality division this year mate!

To make it worse, Denver called a TO just as your kicker was going and he made the kick that didnt count.

The commentators on the radio call of the game said that on at least 2 plays, LAC double teamed both Sanders and Thomas, rushed 4 DL, blitzed with 2 LBs and left the MLB by himself to cover 2 TEs and Fowler. Aggressive.

Our run defense was really good - Gordan had a 20 yard run early and I thought we were in trouble but he only got 65 total. Great job.

Keenan sounded like he was back to 100%. He was clutch in the last drive, getting to FG range.

    Who gets first ballot then?

Has to be Ray Lewis + Randy Moss

Jeff Saturday, Brian Dawkins, TO, Harrison

Urlacher, Ronde, Hutchinson, Faneca, Birk missing on first try

Did you see they nominated the wrong Steve Smith?

Ray Lewis and Randy Moss are shoe-ins. Saturday will make it. Boselli probably will. Dawkins and Lynch should. I hope TO doesnt. Phil Simms, Richard Seymour, Urlacher, Atwater will make the final list, could get a look in.

Next year will be stacked - Champ Bailey, Ed Reed, Tony Gonzalez are all first ballots.

TO was dominant - but he's a complete twat. Id love to see ocho get in and for him to miss. Wont happen but itd be worth it for the twitter beef.

Yeah, saw that about cushing. Team captain last year wasn't he? Big loss for them... 10 weeks is a huge suspension aswell. Bit of a joke that he get 10 for PEDs and Elliott belts his missus and gets 6 weeks that he wont serve til next season. Stacked line but they look pretty ordinary past that now.

Unless Watson produces a season like Dak did they have no chance at that division with the Titans in there, and they won't with an o-line worse than ours. Cushing is a complete bellend as well, hasn't he been done before?

Surely the Texans coach has to go. He's had enough chances to settle their QB issue. Just pick and stick. I cant remember the last time they had a starting QB in week 1 be their starter after a few games.

Yeah, the 10 weeks is for a second strike.

If Im the Jags, Im asking Vikes what the price tag on Bridgewater is. Theyd be runaway favourites for the div with a competent QB.

i might've jumped on a dud TE in Eifert, biggest red-zone threat in that team and he just spent 3 downs on the Texans 10 yard line blocking.

edit: and then he finally gets to run a route and manages to step out of bounds with no-one within cooee of him to nullify a TD catch...

I grabbed him in another league as TE depth with the hope of some good trade bait for a team without a TE. Not exactly panning out that way.

Well we should continue to climb power rankings after that one. Even during the seasons when it was sub-standard, our Defence prided itself on eating rookie QBs alive, but this defence is so lights-out scary, Kizer literally got a migraine sitting on the sideline thinking about having to go out and face us again.

buuuuuuuut just to remind us that we aren't allowed to have nice things, Bam Bradley and Marshall fucking Yanda are the newest additions to the long list of names in the Ravens IR designation, and there's the irreplaceable injury we'd been avoiding thus far...

That would explain it. It's almost too prevalent to be explained without supernatural intervention.

Have the Giants always been bad? I feel like I was paying attention and they were an ok team, then all of a sudden - poo. Did something happen I missed.

    re 9ers:

Positives: D has been good despite getting smashed in time of possession due our offenses inability to stay on the field. tired late in both games but ultimately played well. hopefully Reid and ward aint out to long, we'll struggle without them.

Hyde has started the season well again, just waiting for that first injury to hit and hamper him all season like the last 2

    Negatives:

The passing game is god damn awful, alot of it is howyer but goodwin and others have dropped some shockers that havn't helped him too. you can't win games have a passing game averaging like 4 yards per attempt, you just can't

we won't win more then 4 games, but hopefully the D continues to improve, if we get 1 side of the ball to be consistently above average, then there may be a light at the end of this dark tunnel. there is quality youngsters on our D that will only get better too
