I'd go Lolohea.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
I've changed my mind and decided to keep Semi on the bench at this stage and trade him next week if he doesn't come back. If he does come back and I don't play him this week, I'll cop that. I'm going;
Lolohea --> Copely/Manu (Probably Manu, he should play next week, unless someone can offer a better cashout in the Centres or second row)
Parcell --> Friend
Banks 2 players for next week and if Semi throws the dummy and doesn't come back, he becomes Merrin next week. Would prefer to go Merrin this week and Friend next week, but I guess it doesn't matter if by some chance Semi returns and I get an extra player next week.

Would like some advice in regards to bringing in guys that aren't keepers but could be useful as part of the squad. After trades I will have 8 remaining and 5k
Parcell and Lolohea > Ennis and Gordon will give me this team:
Smith, Ennis
Graham, Brom, Tolman, JWH
Thompson, Mannering, Surgess, Whitehead, Carty, Taylor
Milf, Cleary, JLJ, Feeney
Aitken, Holland, Gutherson, Scott
Semi, Gordon, Barba, Mitchell, Munster
Is it nescessarily a bad thing to have this much depth in the squad??
Will also give me 14 in Rd18 and 17 in Rd19

So you''ll have a team of something like
Smith Ennis
Graham JBrom Tolman
Thompson Mannering Surgess WHitehad Carty
Milf Cleary
Aitken Holland
Semi Munster Mitchell
spare: Taylor, JWH, Barba, Gordon
Whilst having a bit of depth is absolutely a good idea, having 4 decent subs seems like overkill.
Especially when you then have someone like Gutherson who realistically isn't going to get a game for you past the byes (and if injuries/suspensions get you to a point where you want to play him you are pretty much stuffed anyway)
With 19 players, if you have a few with DPP you should be able to field a decent 17 each week even if you miss 1 or 2 players due to injury or whatever.
5 scoring WFBs is also overkill. I would be ditching Gutherson, and Lolohea for min price players and use the funds to bring in a Fifita/Gallen/James or maybe a big scoring half. Those 2 should be able to bring in over $300k - nice war chest t allow JWH, Holland and maybe 1 more good upgrade to your scoring squad.
And allow you to bring in Friend/Rein/someone better than Ennis
Your team would look a lot better if instead of playing Ennis and Tolman, you could play Friend and Fifita and only sacrifice your 19th/20th best players to do so

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
Im over the Semi saga, in a massive way. Unless there is a deeper issue yet to be told, it's utterly disgraceful that players think its ok to lolly around like they do nowadays.
Seriously, its either a drinking or gambling problem or a mental issue with every 2nd player, usually to disguise there penchant for money grabbing. Honour ur contract and do ur time until you earn your payday. Semi's is around the corner anyway. I hope he leaves the game, clearly takes it for granted.
Even though im a sharks nut, i was disgusted with Fifita's comments also this week, RE contracts and opportunity.
Anyway.... fantasy related - zero.
Auva'a to who as a disappearing cashout ?

For some reason contracts mean nothing today & can be broken with very little drama. This happens in every day life as well such as wills. Even though the deceased leaves specific instructions other family members can contest the will if they feel aggrieved & are usually successful. Unfortunately today greed & materialism have replaced ethics & honesty.

Cheers Milch,
Was sort of hoping to use them for byes, but I guess sitting outside the top 1000 I have no chance of making top 100. Will do some maths and see what happens

Would it be better to hold Lolo/Guth/Mitchell this week and make those downgrades in RD19??

I'm keeping Munster in the 17 in the hopes that he does indeed play, bought him after his 99 and he hasn't played since. If he doesn't I'll get an AE of Host who last scored 51 and appears to be getting more minutes at the Dragons

I would definitely hold Gutherson & Mitchell as they play round 18. I mean you've kept them this long. You could possibly keep Lolohea (he misses round 18) as even though he's named on the wing he could possibly go back to fullback. But if you want to sell one of them I'd sell Lolohea.

Cheers WL, yeah the switch between Lolo and Fusi is what is keeping me from trading Lolo this week
