I was only messing mate! Prosise will def get 3rd down work when long and intermediate yardage is needed and a few short yardage carries as Rawls gets back to fitness

Rawls should be a decent piece going forward

Nah Phuck him, supporting a team like the broncos... he deserves it Flip Off

As an aside, I'm at a complete loss as to who I should run out this week playing Rus, it's nice to finally have options and all... but it does remind me how bad I am at making decisions.

    Mariota or Luck

RB's of Martin, Blount, Riddick, Kelley, Rawls and Hightower (I think I can safely rule him out of the group)
WR's of Diggs, Crabtree and Crowder and Marshall (useless and on a bye)

At the moment I'm thinking of Running out Martin, Blount and Riddick with Diggs and Crabtree, but only just this morning I changed my mind on that and thought Martin, Blount and Kelley would be better this week, with Diggs and Crowder....

Mariota and Luck is tough, Mariota been on a tear lately but Luck been putting up big numbers all season! Both secondaries are exploitable toss up...

I'd lock in Martin and Blount...Diggs and Crabtree then Riddick/Kelley in the flex mate...

I reckon you've got a tough call to make mate. My thoughts are that it depends on your matchup. If you are looking a bit weaker than your opposition I think you have to take a punt and go with Riddick and Kelley. But if you are solid then probably go with Martin. I'm just a little concerned that Martin might take another week to get up to full steam and might just be another 10 point player. Whereas Riddick and Kelley could nab you anything from 4 points to 24.....

So My pick if you wanna take a risk is:

At RB - Blount is a lock, with Gronk out I think his value increases too. I say run with Riddick too.
At WR - Diggs and Crabtree
    At Flex - Kelley

As a disclaimer I have Martin, Riddick, and Kelley too and I'm sitting Kelley. Im being conservative though!

Kelley plays Greenbay right? They have a good run D outside of 1 game v Elliott and 1 play v Murray.

Cheers RnT, I am up against a difficult matchup this week and likely to lose, which is part of why I've been struggling with the decision. Russ has an absolute gun team so I don't like my chances of winning with a solid score and his team flopping on an off week. Need my guys go big. Waited so long for Martin to come back it feels wrong to leave him out (and he's one of the few remaining in my team from my initial draft) but I've got a nagging feeling Kelley is going big, despite the matchup... I've had the same feeling about Crowder outscoring Crabtree :S.

Don't read into it - it was just lack of a better alternative. I wanted to keep Booker as the preferred (loose use of the term) RB, but I needed to get in a D/ST to cover Denvers bye. I was going to ride it out with playing Denver against Krump, but he's either updated his side or all his players are off byes. I was hoping i was going to clear it after he's had a few off weeks, but after Newtons rubbish performance, I think I may need Oaklands 3 points.

I was lining up both Miami and then Giants, but I held off too long and they got snapped up. Hopefully even Raiders should be ok against Osweiler and houston.

The other piece that came into it was waiting to find out how Christine Michaels goes in Green Bay.
At least he should form a committee with Starks, but hopefully he can get a good share of the snaps and may become relevant again.

Have guys in other leagues carried or dumped the Awakening?

He was initially dropped in L3, I picked him up once cleared waivers but then decided I rather play dolphins D v Goff this week so dropped him to pick them up.

How u doing in your matchup mate?

If you went with Luck (without having watched the game) it seems you were pretty unlucky there. Luck was way on top early but the way the game went it seems Indy tightened up on offence and on D allowing the rolls to flip. Had it been a close game throughout you have to wonder how many more points luck would have scored.

Sadly while Martin went about exactly as I thought he would (10 points) Riddick didn't go nuts either. Martin should be a solid start from here on out though I reckon. 24 rushes today + 3 receptions on 4 targets, he certainly seems over his injury!

Fingers crossed for Kelley then I guess - did you start him?

It looks like I have somehow managed to sneak another win despite QB Brees only going for 15 and a grand total of 78 with 1 to play. I have to say one of the advantages of having a few slots open each week is you can bring in guys with good matchups. With Jones and Denver on a bye and Gronk out I brought in Edelman, Ebron, and NE who netted me + 27 on my opponent which at this stage looks enough for the win.

Will have to survey the field for pick ups for next week!

By the way, I recall a post or two about promotion relegation between our leagues but I can't seem to find anything - actually I got sick of trawling through the pages. Can anyone recall what the end result of those discussion was?

My vague recollection was regular season winners get automatic promotion + the winner of the overall league as well - is that the case?

If someone could repost that would be awesome. Cheers.

Dude, here's hoping you went both Kelley and Crowder!! Loving the hunch on Kelley too - the kid just hit 31 points - Crowder pretty awesome too ad 16!

Was it enough to win ur match up though mate? There were a lot of big name busts this week so fingers crossed you got over the line!

Thats unlucky mate. Didn't watch that game so I'm asking the same question. I would have run with Ben this week too.

Ah bugger, I was watching that game thinking you would have been loving it... It was a tough call though - I thought you had said you'd gone with Kelley though...

Regardless the kid is solid, his team is well in the hunt, so I'd say he is a start from here on in, pending really tough matchups.

    My RB stocks are:
    L Murray
    Kelley
    Martin
    Jennings
    Riddick
    Lewis

Probably in that order at the moment I reckon.

I have found this season that if you have a good (healthy) WR core then its quite nice to load up the bench on RBs and then select week to week based on match ups.

That being said I'd trade all of the buggers for a Johnson or an Elliot. What a luxury to have either of those guys on ur roster.

    devastating mate!!

at least both the suggested Martin and Blount outpointed Riddick in the flex though, so most of the advice was sound, Martins touches were massive so oing forward he should pick up the scoring

Having any of those is a god send, same with Bell. top 3 picks next year I reckon. #returnoftheRB

first year in an ex sportal keeper league, swung a few trades and will have Beckham, Bell, Elliott and A-Robinson/Benjamin as keepers for the forseeable
