Started with him last year thinking he would be set and forget and Raiders on the up would be the best scoring centre.
From memory he took a while to get going, always starts slowly and fires at back end of the season. Might give him a miss for the first 5 or so rounds with the aim of bringing him in after the inevitable price drops.

Apparently Manly, I thought he was still with the Warriors.  Might get a crack after all.

Shaun Lane should be priced cheap enough and I would be very surprised if he ain't starting ahead of Lewis Brown on an edge. Manly seem to like him ( will probably be this years Nathan Green)

Half these untca's will go down injured in trials, be traded to a different team, get on the drink/drugs/dogs and get suspended. or be fuckin plodders. I've got Santa in my team till at least the end of the 9's. He's a good a chance as any at this stage. Stop wasting your time and go and knock the top off it or attend a Christmas party and bang the disability chick who is a tax write off.

Melbourne fullback Billy Slater has reportedly revealed that unless he can get his troublesome shoulder back to 100 per cent, he won’t play another game.

Considering taking a punt on Scott Bolton too and another one of the Cowboys props would be good value and hell maybe even Klemmer if he starts at lock again. Only downside is Origin

True he did. Each to their own tho... I picked him up at the start of the season also and kept him the whole season long meaning one less trade. I got lucky with a few of the CC centers I picked up and played them early in the season (of and I scored 585 and 628 in my first two rounds). LOL!

Who will partner Norman at the Eels? He was gold when Foran went down last year before getting suspended and should come in a cheaper than the elite half options

Unless I start with BJ will likely look for cheaper CTR option to pair with a rookie next year, someone with elite potential like Chambers who should be priced cheap after a shit back end to the season!

If Slater can't get right, Melbourne may look at Sandow I reckon. He has been linked to the Dragons, Bulldogs and Storm.

Think Newcastle have enough young talent in the halves not to waste money on a guy like Sandow whom could be toxic to their culture with a lot of experienced players having left.

Manu Ma'u at centre is safe for 40 points a week and with the Eels bye schedule should be a keeper all year or at least until after byes. The Canberra centres and Rapana will be targets during the season but only at the right price, reckon they are all a bit overpriced to start the season.

Is anyone looking at Matt Moylan for this year? Set for a big year I reckon.

If Ma'u gets DPP CTR gem be hard to resist, although I'll be mildly surprised if he gets it.
Tohu would be another potential CTR gun.

Has Blake Green left Melbourne yet? If so, and Slater is crocked then Brodie Croft might be a goer

Can't remember how Moylan scored this year but he has never really translated to Fantasy points has he? Also injury prone and will be almost a certainty for Origin? What are the Panfis byes like? Moylan may only play a dozen games.

Baptiste ruptured Achilles, who have they got for back up? Hodgson for 80 would be awesome.
