I too am reaffirming my retirement from the NSW side and I can also confirm Shane Watson will not be making himself available for the Ashes.

def Ice, he has been outstanding this year for the chooks. Macca will absolutely get dropped, once again reaffirming that the QLD loyalty policy is an utter myth

if he's healthy, but supposedly he suffered a ruptured bicep last night, so that's something to keep an eye on

Re: QLD State of Origin 2019 Thread
Our depth looks really thin but we have quite a number of players that I have either great form or have shown previously they can do the job so you're pretty sure will be okay. E.g.
1. Ponga
2. Oates
3. Gagai
4. Chambers
5. Feldt
6. Munster
7. DCE
8. McGuire
9. Hunt/Friend
10. Papalii
11. Kaufusi
12. Gillett
13. Arrow
14. Friend/Hunt/Morgan
15.
16. Christian Welch
17. Glasby
That's not even including players who have been there in the past and done a job but are not in the best of form like Hess, Cooper, Scott, Wallace, Napa, and others who are in reasonable/good form like Norman, Mbye, Ash Taylor, Joe O, David Fafita.
Some of those guys are the form guys in the comp in their position (Munster, Arrow, DCE). Compare that to NSW who clearly have more depth, but after having won last year for the first time in a while might feel obligated to show some loyalty to players out of form like Moloney, Cleary, and Roberts. Realistically as a QLDer, about the only guys who I'm really worried about facing are Latrell Mitchell, Tedesco (especially if they pick Keary, but not so much if they go with last year's halves), and Cook if we cant wrestle the NSW forwards in the tackles.

Friend's gone for 3-4 months, as Sumo said ruptured bicep. So it's FAC or Hunt.

Re: QLD State of Origin 2019 Thread
The way McCullough is playing I'd prefer to play a Hunt/Granville Combo. Or even Morgan, Norman, or Mbye as a 25 minute hooker before I'd play FAC in origin. They might not have played there before, but Morgan especially would go just fine.

I've always been a fan of fitting your best players on the field wherever you can and unless FAC has a remarkable turn of form, starting this week, I'd be inclined to go the following:
1. Ponga
2. Oates
3. Morgan
4. Chambers
5. Gagai
6. Munster
7. DCE
8. McGuire
9. Hunt
10. Papalii
11. Kaufusi
12. Gillett
13. Arrow
14. Fafita
15. Wallace
16. Welch
17. Napa (if fit)/Joe O/Glasby

Nuthin' wrong with Hunt at 9
He's like and extra half a half.... which is about as much as I rate him as an actual half anyway, so win/win

absolutely. considering he is a better 9 than 7, he should get picked there.

Re: QLD State of Origin 2019 Thread
Can we get him back to the Broncos @ $400k please? Ben, give up these delusions of being a half.... you can't keep it up for a season, it's doing your head in.

Has to be your 9. Helps Blues win.

I call your point, but... raise you FAC. You think Hunt gives the Blues a better boost? I'd genuinely rather have Hunt.
