Haven't paid too much attention to Ligi Sao and noticed he has sneaked some alright minutes in recently along with acceptable scores.
How does he fit into their strategy at the moment?

With Bodene going off he would have snaked some minutes there, but will he be a forever 20 minute bit player only for Matulino to come back and force him out?

Yeh, its an odd bench with Ponga in the 14, some kind of shift with Coote and Morgan if it stays 1-17 you would think

I'm not sure. Whatever last week's shenanigans were they can't have helped him, and he hasn't exactly been tearing it up for Penrith. Think Edwards has a shot.

As a Hoare owner I'm hoping Coote ok and he comes in for  Ponga. Should've held Leota and known better than to waste a trade in a cheap Hoare

For those getting rid of Yates, I think he's had a rough hand. I don't believe it's based on form. I trust that Sione will drop out of the side and I'd say he'd be on the bench at least. Even if he isn't he's still got money to make when he does get back into the side.

My take on the last few pages:

Hampton is a trap - Leary is floating around and if in 17 I doubt Hampton plays much more than 50 minutes.
Or Hamptons role could stay the same with Ponga fullback, Coote 5/8 and Morgan Hooker.
Plus Granville will probably only miss 3/4 games. AE nightmare in a month.

Hoping Frawley plays and if late in Friday night will be a good trade for Elgey or Field etc. I will be trading in if he is.

With Peachey out and Hiku/Blake/Moylan being naughty boys I can see Edwards nailing down a spot on the wing from next week until Peachey back.
Think Moylan comes back obviously, DWZ and Edwards wings, Waqa Blake and Whare centres, Hiku dropped or as utility on bench.
Will probably be a trade in for suli for me this week.

GGM has less job security than Edwards I believe with J O'neill probably back next week, Bowen to wing given pecking order at start of the year right? And then Winterstein to come back round 8 anyway.

Cook is a good upgrade for Brailey regardless of Farah being injured I think due to form, but no longer an option to downgrade for McInnes/Macca/Smith to get a keeper elsewhere.

The way this season has gone if someone scores well (way better than expected because they weren't a gun previously) you should just jump on them regardless of whether their job security or scoring potential is a massive risk e.g Wallace, Vaughan, Hess, CHN, Ponga (if he plays).

Following this trend I think Frawley and Dylan Edwards will be sure things Rolling Eyes

Oh and don't trade Yates, probably comes in for Sione this week I would imagine. Doesn't sound good with Sione.

Excuse my ignorance but has Hampton been playing wholly at hooker this year? He's only been averaging about 0.4 PPM in his short spells so we're looking at around mid 30s for 80 mins.

Won't make bulk cash at that rate.. Especially if he doesn't play the full 80

Right time to trade out Hess? Thinking Hess - Surgess since he looks to have bottomed out.

Why trade out Hess when he's up against Wests.

If he is out this week i can see the merit and am eyeing that trade myself (or a bottomed out fifita), if he plays i will hold as he is vs tigers. Is he on the same side as moses? I can see him running over them.

Well my thought process behind the trade is because he is no longer starting and has a BE of 39 and that Surgess has bottomed out.

He was named on the bench last week too but then started. It's a tough one though because Souths play before the Cowboys & you won't know if Hess actually starts.

Found this direct quote from Paul Green re Granville:

"He's fractured his fibula unfortunately. It's not too bad, it's not a weight-bearing bone. He'll be out for best-case three weeks, worst-case six weeks," Cowboys coach Paul Green said on Tuesday.
