However traded Suli out this week for Edwards.

Thinking about moving Sione on for Aubbs.
Sione has played well but those HIA's are a concern.
I have the coin to get Mannering but his neck looks dodgy.
I would have to get rid of Elgey to Hampton to be able to do this.
Aubbs for once looks settled in the 2nd row and plays Rd. 12.
    Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Can you wait a week or 2 for Smat? If he doesn't play can you cover him?
Not a huge amount of info out there about him, and with the Knights issues with Hia (fined and McManus ) then they are probably even more cautious.

Wouldn't be surprised if they give him a rest for a week to show they are looking out for player welfare. Growing up playing rugby if we had a concussion then we had an auto one week off.

Think he is a great borderline keeper there if he gets back to playing normal, worst case in a couple weeks Leilua will be a similar price or there may be other cheap options.

Buying Aubo now is buying at the top of his pricing, Ie buying high.
So if you want him, just keep that in mind as well

I've still many pages to catch up on and this may have been addressed.
But what happens if you cop two injuries or suspensions in you team next week? And bugga, it happens the next week again??
Enjoy your travels and I hope you don't get to many injuries. Wink

Good advice, but I'd say Beej has bottomed out this week, think he makes his BE and starts his rise the following weeks.

If you want some more security... Aubbs Love is the way to go. He has graduated from apprentice to tradesman. Not just the man with the utility belt any more...

@SI would agree with this decision

BJ Leilua has a BE of 52, so should get a week (maybe 2) before pulling that trigger.

I have him as well, but to tear your team apart to bring him in might not be worth it at this stage.

I would love Johnson, but that would mean sacrificing elsewhere and paying top dollar now.
Sometimes you have to play money ball and maximise the $$ to point return
As people say buy low, sell high

Aubo is a safe option but Smat may score slightly less for 150k less (if he plays)
Is 150k for a few points this early on worth it? Can that 150k be spent better elsewhere?

Yeah i know, that's what I'm saying! Suspect
You said worst case scenario is Smat is roughly the same price as BJ in a few weeks, I'm saying I doubt that's worse case given there is currently a 50k price difference and I think BJ scores ~50 this week. Worst case Scenario would be Smat failing to hit his BE of 38 and that gap being much much bigger in a few weeks. Other than that I completely agreed.

These are the decisions which can make/break seasons

SMat if healthy and playing 80 minutes in the 2RF will score awfully close to Aubbs 40-45 (Aubbs has the big 70 upping his avg)

BJ can produce similar scores albeit less consistently but has he highest ceiling/lowest floor being a pure CTR

Anyone who started with Aubbs, congrats! keeper CTR for a great price early season

Getting Aubbs now is paying high end $$$, nothing wrong with that but if you back the right horse can get a player who scores as well for A LOT less, hat is obviously where the risk lies though, back the right CTR horse

Haha we are both on the same wavelength, just on my mobile so doing rough maths but finding that cash shouldn't be to bad. I guess I am just a bit pessimistic with Leilua and would wait that extra week, though I can afford to do that. Doing the same with other players dropping in price, no need to rush in.

If Smat plays then he isn't a trade out so not concerned with his BE. if he doesn't play (for more than a week) then his price remains the same and then gets traded out
Leilua situation is similar to Whitehead a couple weeks ago, Would be great if he scores big now but if he bangs out a low score then he potentially drops quite a bit further.

The key to all of above is Smat playing and Leilua going large.
With Leilua you never know which week he bangs out that huge score, due one

agree with that booze, only difference with BJ is he well capable of a 90 and his price flying back up  Laugh 3
