1st half against the Tigers, all Storm did was defend their line. No chance for running metres.

TBH if I had a choice of bringing in JBrom or Whitehead this week - I'd pick JBrom. Think he has more of a chance of hitting his BE.
Can probably wait a week on both of them, depending on how much you need the points

Until he shows up in the NSW Cup team list... there's a chance.

To the Brailey owners out there. Why no love for Friend? He should be $490k next week and bottomed out after a few injury affected games and reduced minutes. You would say he is good for 50-55 points a game even WITH reduced minutes so won't lose value. Over origin he plays alternate byes to mcinnes and he is up against Raiders, Broncos, Tigers, Storm, Sharks and Rabbits, so with a few players out for origin you would reckon he plays close to 80min and against those teams he should rack up some tackles.

Since start of year he has been pencilled into my squad to trade out smith come round 12 for. My only concern is he and smith share the round 19 bye.

Obviously Macca is probably a better scorer (barring niko) but he shares a bye with Mcinnes
Pritchard has better byes....but please, he will average 35, that is 105 over 3 big byes. Friend will make that in 2 games so net points is identical over 3 byes and you are ahead overall for having a better scorer during non bye rounds.

Am I missing something? I know he has more back up on the bench, but he is about the cheapest he will be and I reckon Pearce is in origin and we know how well he scores without him.

    so Brailey to Friend
    round 12 smith to Mcinnes

    Round 19, Friend to Smith

Yeah I think you are right about Friend. I have my eye on him as a Brailey upgrade. My main concern is that I'm not gonna have the cash to upgrade Brailey, because even at about $490 I think he's out of my reach. All my centres are peaking with nowhere to trade too. Sad

An 80 minute Friend is arguably the best fantasy hooker to have. It's a shame for us that they've discovered the talents of Watson and Matterson

Re trading stone or Yates for CHN; Trade a Yates

This is geared more towards sc though. I wouldn't pick Luke myself. He's better in sc than fantasy.

Pearce in Origin (likely), Cordner, Guerra, Fergs, and Napa (depending on injury) as likely to be selected.....Watson and Matterson starting surely? Almost no choice BUT to play friend for 80...

Friend is a quality 80 minute hooking option but even playing 80 with Pearce his scores don't match playing without him

Probably Jacks. With Cook playing 80 this week then a 4 forward bench will reduce Musgrove's minutes.

I still don't think they will start during origin. Roosters have some great depth in their forward pack

gonna give it a go. Worst case scenario he averages 65min, scoring 50 points and loses 20k. Best case scenario Pearce 70-75min and averages 60pts and makes 70k..... no guts no glory!

I am banking on the hope Pearce is picked and one of them slots into half.
