I had planned to get Pearce into my team after Origin since round 12 but now I'm unsure if I should get him over Cleary and DCE. Tough call...

Pretty happy with that week.
926 including Cleary and captain Gal. Those two pretty much saved my week after a shit performance from my entire back 5. :-/

EDIT: stole about 600 places in the rankings.
Six trades left for the last seven weeks. Bring on the injuries!

Once the live score gets updated I should sit around the 930points for the round. atm AE Captain Tolo is getting double points instead of VC Gal. probably just a glitch...

Yeah but that's only 1 game. With only 4 trades left whoever I get in I finish the season with.

Well done mate . The tonne has been very elusive for most of us this year.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Another week, another poor captaincy choice.
Yet somehow I've cracked my first 1000+ pre updates.
1002 isn't safe but hopefully Taupau can grab a couple of updates

O.K. so look who is tough enough to get thru the rest of the rounds, give you a good score and
is playing well. You have to take your pick between Pearce, Cleary and DCE imo. I just chose
Pearce because he is 1st up for a reliable good score and may be fuming after the origin outcome.

I thought you could trade players from bye teams up until lockout is lifted? Won't be able to afford both Smith and TTurbo now

Hopefully there's less than $7k difference between merrin and turbo and I'll just have enough left from my friend to Smith trade

The Roosters still play the Titans, Tigers and Knights at home but also play the Storm away, Sea Eagles away, Sharks away and the Cowboys at home. That's 4 really tough games to come.
The Panthers play the next 4 games at home (WTF?!) and 5 of the last 7 games are at home. Titans, Bulldogs and Tigers the next 3 weeks with the Cowboys at home, Sea Eagles away and the Raiders away.
The Sea Eagles play 5 of their last 7 games away from home (WTF again). They play the Roosters and Panthers at home, with their 5 away games against the Dragons, Bulldogs, Tigers, Warriors and Storm.
Clearly looks the better option considering he has 5 of the last 7 games at home with some very favourable opponents to play as well.

Well when picking a replacement for SJ. Consider a few factors. Their run home, their recent form and the quality of their opposition.
I would personally go with DCE because he's taking it personally to go on a mission to lead his team after getting snubbed.
He's not actually who I will be bringing in but for someone weighing up the 3 I would go DCE
