If you are only going to be running with one gun hooker, I'd want it to be Smith. He also provides you with a consistent week in week out captaincy option.

With the other trades it's hard making suggestions without knowing the makeup of your side but I feel that RTS to DCE will give you a bigger points boost than Elliot to Vaughan.

Current halves = SJ, DCE, Lamb, Field

If A-Rey is indeed out & they move C. Walker to the halves from f/b then I might do the same & buy T-Trbo instead of Pearce, Cleary or Munster. That will leave 1 trade & a decent amount of cash of 141k. Thoughts.

With merrin out for 6-8, I'm thinking of trading him to TTrbo (via SMat) this week, and taking a punt on Smith losing 5k so I can afford him next week for Friend.

CS9 has a BE of 58, so good luck with that.

Well I can't get them both this week anyway, so it's a case of whether Smith or Trbojevic are more likely to miss their BE, and 58 looks better than 24

The Duges and Fergo drama has made the news headlines on TV now, we'll be hearing loads more about it tomorrow.

I reckon they've both played they're last origin and although they weren't entirely to blame for the loss, they'll be used as scapegoats. On top of the culture problem that's being reported about the team, its not a good look for NSW.

What a fucked up round that was. Warriors got pumped and lost SJ for the season. So did my fantasy team along with injuries to Merrin and Friend.

Time to bring in Smith for the first time this season, feels good. SJ > DCE provides the funds. Will have to leave Merrin for now. 2 trades left ranked 247. Will run the following 17.

It has it's merits mate, Walker in the halves could very well match the other gun halves. He started the season off at halfback and was on fire.

Only problem is the uncertainty around how long he'll be there before Reynolds comes back. It's a gamble but it may pay off for you.

Who's your other hooker? If it's McInnes I'd say run with Macca, Munster and Teddy. If your other hooker is weak I'd run with Smith and Munster.
