I still cant believe kick defusals are scored in fantasy when intercepts and succesful strips are not.

Because Manners, Gal or Chrichton won't score more. No need to loop hole, nothing to see here

Was worried about trading Cleary in a couple of weeks ago, suspected he was a potential trap with inflated scores from a panthers temporary form surge. Glad he's putting my mind at ease.
Flip side i was confident about Dedwards....WHO BROKE HIM?!?!?!?

I think the scorers get excited by someone new so give them big scores.
Then when they get familiar it gets a bit boring so lower scores

So what you're saying is that we should definitely all trade in Dufty and captain him every round from now on?

Very nervous about my Keptin Menring. I have the V on Tolman but if I looped I'd get one of Cam/FuBrown/Smat. So not really option, gotta ride my choice. No Worries wrote:Chewie wrote:Captain Cleary scoring an acceptable 58 points... I was hoping for a bit more, but can't complain

Speaking of commentators i've noticed lately that Warren Smith uses alot of the same phrases over and over, especially "wore/copped/got a shot for his troubles". Now that I've picked up on it, it stands out to me every single time. Wondering if any others have noticed this, he pulled one out last night. I might develop a drinking game for Woz

I know being a stats guy for a competition like the NRL is difficult but to only give Edwards 2 TB's for that game is a joke. I watched the whole game and he got more than 2. His TB's were pretty obvious too so that's the most disappointing thing.

I also have a similar drinking game. Pre game I select a random player from either team. Each time a commentator says their name I have a shot of water. Come the end of the game I'm nice and hydrated. Wake up feeling fresh the morning after.

I need more information. Do you not drink water in the build up? What are the rules around post-game hydration? What if there are multiple games on in a night? What do you do in bye weeks? Do you keep the water in the fridge or the straight from the tap?

Only have Gallen and Brown playing tonight. Feels weird. Not sure if I'll even watch much of the games as am heading to QLD for the week tomorrow morning.
Haha just kidding of course I will watch all of both games. Packing will take me 3mins.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 60
Kick Diffusals are confusing and I've watched them closely in the past to try and work out how they are awarded. They are only awarded in a contended situation or someone has to be within a few metres to apply pressure. A kick diffusal is also from a grubber kick, chip kick or bomb. It is also awarded when when forcing the ball in goal or knocking it dead provided the kick was contended.
That should help.
As for D Edwards TB's last night, I thought he was robbed a few as well. I think Ramesh and Sujay cashed him out this week. Watch for another WFB to go big without doing anything.
Personally, I wish the NRL would take the stats from Fox, they seem to be more accurate.
In a perfect Fantasy world we would get.
Stats from Fox
Fantasy Platform from Virtual Sports (the old dreamteam)
Rules, point scoring and price changes the current way
