What a game and well done Cowboys.
Where on the website can you find out overall position for the post-season match-day games? Or failing that, how is everyone doing? I'm on 2,009 (Thanks, captain Taumalolo).

All 4 games have been great entertainment & even though the Storm are favourites they weren't that convincing against the Eels. I think it's wide open & any of the last 6 teams could win it.

As a manly fan, its not so much that peacheys try was awarded as that was 50/50 and benefit of the doubt goes with refs call. I can even live with uates as it looks like he dropped it. But the walker no try, there is no way they could say 100% he was offside from any angle, so why wasnt the refs call gone with?
Thats what is pissing us off. How can they overturn 1 and not the other when there was more doubt involved in the peachey try?
What ch9 fail to tell you when they show these pictures is that they are looking at 1 angle, the Bunker is looking at 8. For all we know the other 7 where clear that he was offside but we only see what 9 wants us to see.

Really interesting before the start of extra time - Fifita talking in the Sharks huddle with the "we can do this!" style speech. Gallen barely present.
Cowboys huddle was Cooper telling them the strategy and what to do with Morgan right beside him.
Seemed polar opposites.

Fifita should retire after that last play !!
5th tackle with seconds to go, he should have run straight to get closer to the posts for Maloney's field goal, but the greedy fuck runs across field and tries to get the impossible off load and loses the ball and the game.

Yeah, complete brainfart. I think he was trying to draw in defenders to perhaps make a field goal easier with less defenders around perhaps, but for some reason tried to offload. Dunno what he was thinking.
But really, they shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. So many errors cost them in the end, not that one play.

Mostly because league fans have been conditioned into thinking that the refs are to blame for all of the game's ills.
I won't repeat my rant from the weekend, but I will say, that as a neutral, I enjoyed all the games on the weekend. Thought it was a good start to the finals series. A little down on quality at times, but made up for that with excitement. Every game was in the balance until the every end

Entertaining games this weekend for sure.. there were a lot of unnecessary errors made and penalties given away. Finals nerves?
Looking forward to next few games...

I reckon the Cowboys have a better chance against the Roosters than the Eels do.
