still trying to fathom how that happened, how do you take a inside ball from some-one and run into them?

Apparently Hook got stuck into him in front of the whole playing roster a few weeks ago and things went down hill till it got to the stage where they wouldn't speak and ignore each other. That was when the rumour cracked he was leaving because he was due back from injury and he refused to come back. Then all of a sudden he's seeing a cousellor and needs a clearance from them before he can come back.

Did mcguire throw a punch at mansour in the background on the 77min mark?

Just curious cause i swear it looked like it. Panthers were about the 40m mark

Mansour clipped McGuires chin in the way up while playing the ball. Mcguire pushed him away after the play ball. Looked dodgy cause mansour turned his head away as mcguire swung his arm.

    Not a punch though.

I see a lot of people getting up the refs as though they don't always (and shouldn't always) blow time off as soon as some-one is lying unconcious on the field, but correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the ball hitting milford after oates drops it constitute accidental offside and the play being blown dead anyway?

I'm not certain accidental offside actually renders the play dead. I'm sure there have been times where something similar has happened (minus the injured player) and the ref has played advantage

But the point is academic. You're right, the offical is correct to call time off as soon as a player is unconscious.

"The integrity of our match officials and the game needs to be protected."

This quote always has me in stitches, in regards to coaches comments post matches.

Most who see or hear a coach go on a rant already know and have seen the issue at hand. As if 'freedom of speech' should be excluded from a press conference in sport. i support any coach/club who is happy to speak their mind and cop a fine. Referees need to be accountable, not a protected species.

There was a rumour concerning a certain female surfer who was going out with a team mate. Mind you that rumour could of been about Te Maire Martin.

Fanatics might be able to claim the #1 Match Day rank so far. My sister was equal 7th coming into this round and now up to 1st after last night's game.

Commonly referred to as "my friend" through out the season, since you know, pics or ban.. there's definitely some fanatic influence being passed on.

Meanwhile I'm ranked in the 1200s, so hell if I know what I'm doing still. Scraped inside the top 6k for the regular season.. Yay?

Looking forward to the game tonight!

I going completely biased with my match day fantasy selection tonight... All blue and gold

Hoping that Taumalolo scores another sub 40 fantasy points against the Eels like the previous 2 games
