Seems to be a fair amount of panic but I think we are going 'ok' and our position on the ladder reflects that.
Not interested in the what if's because at the end of the day we jagged the competition points in 3 close finishes and thoroughly deserved those victories - that should be seen as a positive but instead it appears to be coming up as a negative.

We are patchy in both attack and defense but it is still a long season and some of the teams that are cruising at the moment are going to hit flat spots (looking your way Dragons) and some of the teams that are inconsistent are going to have a run of form - I'm backing us to be one of those teams.

Agreeing with you again. Might need to masturbate with a cheese grater so I don't feel so dirty. Your comparison of Dugan and Hayne was sublime, your acknowledgement that the Broncos are 3 lucky ref decisions away from the wooden spoon is prophetic.

Everything else is just dribble as usual

Fancy being flogged by that rabble.

Your season is over. Done. Finished. Dusted.

Shame Bonzos, shame. You’re a disgrace to every two headed qlder who once took pride in pissing on the odd seat in victory.

Now where are they going to piss?

Also, as soft as it was, Mbye should be the only person copping anything for his total act of stupidity in playing at a man who was going for the ball but clearly didn't have it. Penalty was the only correct decision there.

Every dropped ball should be a knock on. Every, single one.

    They’re rosey glasses ????

    Souths flogged them by 30.

The team they belted by 54 points to nil, beat them by 34 a month later.

    Yet their form is OK.

    OK lol!

    Fair point.

I mean they belted Souths a few weeks ago but you're right, belting teams like that probably isn't a very good indication of how well the Broncos are travelling....

There’s never been an undefeated champion in the NRL. Even the best lose to gumbies occasionally. The Bonzos have perfected it......the losing part that is.

2006 must seem a long time ago now. Shit, Brisbane high school graduates still don’t know what a premiership is unless it’s girls soccer.

Looks like both the Broncos and Knights missed out on Wallace. He's re-signed with the Titans till 2022

Didn't want Wallace back anyway. We have enough young up and coming props who I want to keep. Will we keep them all? Probably not, because we never do.

    Not overly surprised.

Clearly settled down here, plus a Gold Coaster originally and had just bought a new home down here....so we would have had to pay overs to poach him.

Or Rugby. Or Netball. Or Basketball. Or Baseball.

I can see where your confusion comes from, but the Brisbane school system is much different from South Sydney. We graduate at 17/18 years of age, as opposed to Redfern's best and brightest dropping out at 14 to take up a career of meth and grand theft auto. 2006 is well within memory for our graduates.

This might be very left field, and I don't know if I would do it myself given his history, but with the Dogs alleged cap crisis, if we have the cash (which we might if Thaiday retired), how would people feel about taking Keiran Foran as a mid season signing to play halfback? He doesn't create much anymore, but I can live with that if he can organise to get our team up the field then let Milf do the creating from there.

he would be an excellent signing depending on the cost obviously. If you could get him for half price, it would be a masterstroke

we're pretty much at the 'beggars can't be choosers' stage for halfbacks and it's not the worst idea ever, but i thought the whole reason he left the Warriors was to be in Sydney with his family?

What a fucking absolute debacle that Napa sin binning was. Deadset worst decision I think I have ever seen in a game of league.

Napa clearly puts his head down thinking Sims is going one way, ready to nail him in a tackle, Sims shifts causing the accidental headclash and Napa is binned. Wow!

deadset, can we just set Milford's age as a benchmark and sack every-one older than him? i wish the veterans showed half as much passion as the young guys that have come in.

it was reckless as fuck, he looked like a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man coming out of the line and the only part of him that touched Sims was his head.

    absolutely.
Was deadset shocking hey. Worst fucking decision.

Then the roosters "knock on" from matterson shortly after, I thought should have been play on.

Then on the last try by issaco - he runs behind one of his own players... and they dont even look at it???
Im not saying anyone was obstructed but fuck me, he clearly runs behind his own player and they dont look at it??

Was this the ref that they always win under?
Because FUCK me dead that Napa decision was absolutely shocking.

And yes, on that game, Mitchell and Roberts should clearly be the centres. Mitchell got washed a few times by Roberts, Roberts got bathed a few times by Mitchell. QLD dont have centres that can smoke Mitchell like that, and they dont have the speed catch Roberts when he puts in effort on his 2 plays per game

Sims stepped into it!!!! Napa has his head down, shoulder up - if sims runs straight he gets hit in the chest, he steps and there is an accidental head clash. Fuck me dead that is a shocker of a decision.
