NRL Fantasy 2018 thread part 36

Loving the Havili chat here. He was an obvious buy at 228k preseason and there's a crazy stat about raiders doing significantly better whilst hes been getting big minutes. Got lucky being drunk and forgetting to sub him out for soro..but hey gotta get lucky sometimes!

Next week should be an interesting one for trades. Want to bring in a big gun but dunno who. If only there was someone else bar Dugan that was an obvious trade in at centre. Do not trust aitken and mitchell im expecting to play origin.

Thoughts on the top 3 or 4 centres? Have bj and hiku atm.

1.2 mil in the centres for a combined total of less than 50. Fuck that’s annoying. Ended up on 889 so can’t complain too much.

Centre is such a crock of hell this year that I'd probably just stick with BJ and Hiku if I were you. If they're hitting 30s, you're ok.

If you have loads and loads of trades, the value centres for the first bye are Ramien and Aubusson (yes, Aubusson), or if you feel like gambling, RossDog. However, long term I don't see them as any better than what you already have.

Top centre scorers for the year, I'd say Mitchell and Dugan, with the huge "if fit" caveat. GI could come back into it if he ever gets his fullback switch.

Aitken, Latrell, Croker and JRob I'd feel pretty safe with 2 of those.

Cotric or Marsters have potential, just less history to back them up.

Hiku's averaging 33, so I dunno about bothering to use the trade + cash to upgrade him though. His MTs are annoying, but gets attacking stats. Run metres were way down this week after getting smashed by Storm.

Isaako's my other CTR and would love to upgrade him to any of those top 4 mentioned above, dunno when though.

Might go isaako who's on my bench to aubs. Then use my 200k bank to move havili to a gun in 2 weeks.

Sheesh, finally caught up on the pages/games from the previous two nights. People jump the fence way to early. After 10 minutes in games people were already complaining about scores and that their players weren't scoring good. It's an 80 minute game not 10.

Hey Finchy, as you are such a fine upstanding individual, I thought I should make it clear to you that nrlfantasy.com.au is a site that goes against the conditions of the NRL Fantasy game (as are my spreadsheets)

Also, entering the Autofill league as well as the main competition is also against the comp T&Cs.


I know you hate cheaters, so I hope you refrain from using such dirty tactics in future.


Changing the order of your ranked substitutes during a round, is completely legal (though of course, not mandatory)

By the way on the Channel1 news in NZ. Lawton was touted as the replacement for Luke. Saying that he had a great game in reserve grade.

Looking like a lot of teams will be breaking 900 this week. With a good chunk breaking 4 figures.
