True that. I suppose him hitting 40s is reasonable without Austin

1 note would be to omit the barba, I have a hunch he is not playing this year.

Thanks. Yeah feel free to call me t4. I have replaced Barba

Just changed my team name to Midrange PODs.

Have only got 4 players in my playing 17 with > 10% ownership... Cam Smith (C), Cam Murray, Capewell and Dylan Brown. Going to be an interesting year Smile

Your CTRs are stacked! Was the hardest position to fill for me last season, so makes a lot of sense. I would prefer Keighran rather than Sezer. He must be decent because they deliberately haven't bothered to try to replace SJ with all the talent coming through. Have a look at Sezers scores the last few years, he is a known quantity and had bad form his whole time in Canberra.

Gordon is really just a filler for the time being until the trials are over, thx for the input cheers.

Yeah not overly keen on Sezer but was all I could afford.

I've dropped Arrow for IPap and brought in Arey instead.

Plenty of options will have to see how things go with trials and TLs

After extensive analysis, I finally have a team that I am comfortable with pending TLT. Not a cookie cutter team, I have named it "Midrange PODs", it is stacked with them throughout and have $110k in the bank to play with come TLT when a few of my assumptions dont get the opportunity I was hoping they deserved.

My playing 17 only has 4 players with >10% ownership. Smith, Capewell, D. Brown, Murray

    Smith (C)
    Paulo, Ah Mau
    L. Leilua, Kikau, Murray
    D. Brown, Koroisau
    Holland, Capewell
    Katoa, DWZ, Drinkwater

    Egan, Mahoney, Sue, Twal

    Haas, Lomax, Keighran, Ravalawa

Bring on TLT to finalize it!

A few of these guys will be obvious boom/busts based on TLT (some of them will also see ownership skyrocket if TLT turns out how you expect)

The interesting one to me is Sue. I've had him in my team before, he's one of the "PPM Kings" who promises a lot but delivers a little. Do you think the change of clubs will do him good? I guess if Napa does end up suspended he'll probably get a senior prop role. but for me he has been in the comp long enough that if he was going to be a fantasy gun, he would have shown it already.

Also not sure there is much value in Katoa, his scores aren't terrible, but don't think they are good enough to warrant a starting spot in your team, unless you think he'll show big improvement.

Katoa is based on 7 factors:
    1. Form is actually great, averaged 54 in 12 games in ISP after coming back from his broken jaw
    2. Will be SJs winger - Fusitua was top try scorer last season due to SJ cutout passes
    3. Moylan at fullback - going to be passing to his wingers to run the ball back
    4. Really fast and a tackle breaking machine, really elusive
    5. Expect the extra $160k from an unknown rookie to be well spent to get some decent scores
    6. Those burned last year won't get him this year Smile
    7. Wait for his 3 try game then cash him out

I see Sue being the biggest benefactor of Napas demise.

Don't rate Haas as a starting prop and you have no cover at Prop in your team either.

Cleary to start then possibly Murray will be the obvious Captain picks. Other rookie players to consider will be R Garrick, Ravalawa, C Allan, A Hopoate, B Nikora, J Salmon.

I think the prospect of having a team without Cook and Smith is viable and if you are without any of them most people are with McCullough.

Which is an option I am warming up to. Essentially it looks like you are exchanging McCullough for Cleary. For whatever reason when i look at your team I can't help but feel you must have a lot of cash left over in your cap or that you have just gone too hard for your bench imo. If I don't have a Hooker I can trust as Captain I would want to have at least two viable Captain picks and Murray is a maybe. I just feel your team is too middle of the road.

For clarification, I decided to take McCullough out of my squad and put Cleary in and this is the team I have.

    R. Mahoney
    A. Fifita, A. Tolman
    J. Arrow, C. Murray, E. Whitehead
    M. Morgan, N. Cleary
    J. Bateman, K. Capewell
    D. Edwards, J. Mansour, H. Hunt/Z. Lomax

    W. Egan, S. Sorensen, P. Haas, J. Bird

    D. Brown, Z. Lomax, L. Burr, A. Keirghan

With the rookies being able to swap out. Like yes my bench looks weaker because you have two mid-tier guys there but my captain options are J. Arrow, A. Fifita, N. Cleary, and then C. Murray.

Looks pretty balanced, amazing what you can do with the rest of the team when you just have a mid range hooker starting.

Centers are stacked, set and forget for the year.

So after taking your advice into account:

    J. Arrow, C. Murray, Stimson
    M. Morgan, N. Cleary
    J. Bateman, K. Capewell

    D. Brown, Ravalawa, L. Burr, A. Keirghan.

Differences are Bird + Whitehead + Tolman + Mansour vs Twal + Stimson + LLeilua + CWatson. It does look like with the changes I made I save a tonne of trades.
