Some people have a need to cling to glory that has long since faded from their lives.

Surely a mod could give us another voting option in the poll?

How long ago did you write that Ron? You're on point. Also funny having a laugh at who people wanted as the halves in the NSW team. Pearce lol.

Early 90's going off Greg Robert's advice on the NSW halves pairing.

23 years, pie head. State champs and Amco Shield with Fairfield Pats. SG Ball, Matts, Flegg, U23’s. 6 premierships - Bulldogs, Collegians, Warragamba, Mounties, Crows Nest. All A grade.
Played with and against Brett Kenny, John Muggleton, Steve Ella, Kerry Hemsley, Eric Grothe, Gale Brothers, Snodgrass Brothers, Tommy, Muzza, Taylor. No money in footy in my day, although I paid for a round the world trip on a hundred a win, 50 a loss. I captain coached and coached for 10 years as well. I was a great 5/8 and amateur boxer. I did both for love. I know a lot about them too.
You ?
U14’s.
Now go back in your hole. Peanut.

Re: The Letter
considering the state of the game where coaches have managed to turn being penalized into an advantage, wouldn't every club be digging up their old halfbacks and chucking a trainers shirt on them if Alfie's role was an on-field advantage?
it's makes sense that Ronnie's a Souths supporter though, both clinging to whatever shred of glory they can find because they know that the last time they were relevant was before televisions broadcasted in color

You’ve led with your chin here
Souths - 21 premierships, Broncos - 5 (superleague doesn’t count)
Souths last premiership - 2014, Broncos last premiership - 2006.
Now, we’ve got your coach.
Just lol.

You have said multiple times Bennett has past it now you have our coach? So the Rabbits much like every year since 2014 have taken a step backwards?
Just lol.

you seem to have forgotten that the only reason you have our coach is because your previous coach dropped your club like a prom baby in a dumpster the second he was offered a much more prestigious job

Its more a reflection on how bad their halves are - a good half wouldn't want or need someone on the field telling them where to go and what to do.
What a crazy post tho surmbro... souths have been way more successful and relevant recently compared to brisbane....
