Lookout over! I can trade Ipap straight to Bateman. Seems a bit sideways, but Bateman might be too good to miss. Way too many centres in my squad, but my wingers are looking a bit rubbish (Kahu, Edwards, Burns + Garrick).

Kahu + Garrick Out
Lawrie + Host In
thoughts? couldnt afford Bird or Bateman without getting rid of Holland or Mahoney.

This week I think I'll just be jumping on a couple of better cash cows. Got to trust my other picks.
I'm missing Bateman at this point. Might need to reassess next week.....

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
What are are thoughts on Mahoney? A bit lucky (out of the ordinary anyway) with the try and more likely to settle to an average around 40?
Trying to decide who I use as a makeweight to get bateman, or whether I give it another week or so and focus on cows
Team is
Macca
Tolman Fifita
Lane Arrow Murray
Morgan Keighran
Holland Capewell
Rav Burns Hughes
Bench: Friend Garner Sironen Mahoney
EMGs Nikora Host Brown Kahu
15k ITB only so need to generate cash with X to lawrie and holland to bateman a possibility
Any advice?
Lane is an option but seems crazy given the eels forward pack and the defense and minutes he is likely to get through the next month

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
After reading that back, mahoney is going to make as much or close to what bateman does anyway so perhaps another look and me actually watching him live will help me make my mind up on that one
Holland to lawrie for now and nikora into the centres

#Me too
He's juicy but I have to focus on getting cows in and making cash. Same goes for Gillett Either flicking Holland or Glasby

Would you call Bateman a cash cow. Could get to 750k and make 130k if you get him now.
Seems pretty 'must have' to me

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
In the top 3000 which is apparently pretty poor by the sounds of everyone else in here...
I think the Hetherington, Kahu experiments failed. Assumed Hetherington would get more time given his apparent starting position but that looks to have been changed.
Thinking:
Hetherington --> Lawrie
Holland --> Burr
Willing to keep Kahu one more week but moved to EMG.
Team now is:
Macca
Fifita, Tolman
Murray, JT13, Gillet
Cleary, Morgan
Bird, Capewell
Burns, Rava, Edwards
Bench:
Keighran, Mahoney, Lawrie, Nikora
EMG:
Kahu, Burr, Sivo, Brown
Leaves me $229k in the bank

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
If you get Bateman, you don't care about cash generation so much. It's about getting a final 17 keeper as cheap as possible.
Unless he gets injured, you won't be selling him for profit

i think those jumping off Holland are gonna regret it.... think it is better to hold him and get cheaper options than Bateman.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
Good to see its finally updated! 956 for that round. Biggest disappointment is Holland and his 25, Arrow's 46 is worrying too but you'd think he would get more minutes moving forward.
Biggest targets for me this week are Bird (chose Kahu in EMG instead). Bateman after his big game. Lawrie was impressive too, I had him in a few early teams but bench forwards are always scary. Host did better than I expected too, could get some solid minutes with Friz out. And Capewell, didn't trust him all preseason.
A huge 39k ITB, so options are limited. Might go Kahu>Bird with $5k to spare. Only way to get Bateman is dumping Arrow, which seems crazy, or possibly Lane (who looked good) without grabbing Bird... Might have to downgrade Holland to Lawrie to free up cash and play Bird. Hmmm
