Round 3 - Team Makeup (vote for our halves)

Our Trade ins are looking fairly set. I'll wait for the vote but unless something drastic happens we are doing Tolman -> Bird.

Lets pick a starting team.



Think that we mostly have players that pick themselves apart from the ever present choice.

Can we go 3 from 3 on rookie half roulette?

1. Pick our 2 starting Halves (Morgan, Brown, Keighran) - we should start Morgan but know people are concerned with his "injury"/Clifford
2. Our scoring bench will have Mahoney, Lawrie, Garner, Capewell. I think this is straightforward (Bird plays first so I have him in starting). The only contrarian play would be to play our final half over Bird/Capewell but that feels silly with such a solid start. Leave a comment if you think the bench needs an actual vote and what you would change.

1. Morgan and Keighran
2. Mahoney, Garner, Lawrie, Capewell (Brown misses out)

Make sure Lawrie is in a starting FRF spot and Taupau on the Subs bench (gives cover due to DPP).

Whilst its good to be flexible, given our current bench makeup, I can't think of a situation where we'd actually need to have Taupau on the bench.

Yeah good point - I just do it by default as it is the safest option. A whole lot would have to go wrong this week, but good practise I reckon to play it that way I reckon...

I just always make a point of keeping things as flexible as possible which also usually means putting guys into the 13 in the order they play. Again, gives you more options if shit hits the fan....

I'm playing K-dog this week (voted) but I think Brown will score ok. He loves a tackle and will get plenty of opportunities. I might even swap them over depending on the start I get this week. Hoping to get lucky
