Can a participant from League 2 and League 3 come forward as a lead for that respective league and organise an appropriate draft time for the 8 guys involved in that league?

Much easier to manage 8 guys into a time/date rather than 24.

I will set up the leagues and hand out codes for each league beforehand

If you can't find anyone else I'll do it but I'd prefer not to as I've got no idea how much time I'll have to devote to it at this point.

Same as Ryno didn't actually think you would drop your guts and bail on the lads!

    I'll replace you.

Sorry lad but I tried to give you as much notice as possible. Next few months are going to be extremely busy and like I said earlier I don't think I will have the time to dedicate myself to the comp like it deserves (I wouldn't want to be the bloke who is around for draft day then disappears for the rest of the season).

    Updated Leagues.

Bolded participants are current League set-up captains, if there aren't any objections I will put another team in L3 to fill a spot but won't be eligible for Promotion. That spot would go to the next best team in the League.

Current Promotion criteria is overall league winner then the winner of the playoffs, if the overall league winner wins both the second promotion spot will go to the playoff runner up.

given the league settings, and I know it maybe to late to discuss, but what about 2x 12 teams league.

with 8 teams there is going to be plenty left in the FA's to be used as weekly pickups and drops and most players baring the cream of the crop in each position may find themselves potential to be sacrificed, meaning the draft really only validate the first few rounds with the later picks more than likely to be easily supplemented with other fa's on a week to week basis.

    1 QB
    2 RB
    2 WR
1 FLEX (RB, WR or TE)
    1 TE
    1 K
    1 D/ST
    6 Bench players (any makeup)

I have played 12 teamers for most of my fantasy leagues and given there are 32 NFL teams the numbers up above will still work perfectly. this may also lead to more constructive managerial movements such as trades and less drops to the waiver given what will be left in the FA.

Now surprises always happen and so do injuries so the FA will still be valuable but it means your not simply dropping your bench players for weekly fill ins.

    thoughts?

I don't think most first year players have the knowledge of NFL players past the first 6 rounds to make it fair after the big names go, in a 12 team league most will have gone by the 3rd/4th round

L2 and L3 are made almost entirely of first year guys I can see the merits of a 12 teamer but due to the numbers of newbies and first year setting up leagues for FF I think it best to keep it at the 8 team number so there are plenty of stars in each team, keeps the interest up through the year as well I think

definitely will leave it up to debate though pal!

Apologies Dueces, but i vote a phat NO to 12 team league.
I think the weekly 6 man bench and weighing who is worth keeping for the weeks ahead is perfect with 8 players. Having some pretty valuable players that u have to bite the dust on and drop in krder to grab someone else is a huge part of the fun. Like scooping up Martavis Bryant into the season last year !

Yes I agree in this respect also! Guess who dropped Devonta Freeman after 1 game last year?

He was a beast after that haha ! Patience can be key hey.

'Committees' should not be allowed in Nfl RB scenarios while we are on running backs.
