They need NRL approval, RTS doesn't. Besides, the insider has already come out and said it will be Barba. Lets wait and see if he's BS or not. (the insider that is)

I honestly hope it's not Barba, I'm sure we will pay way overs for him, with all this money we have floating around we could have retained 4 Teddys

Doesn't Barba still have to do his 12 game ban before he plays?

Apparently he's served his ban ... http://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-league/40432748
And Lolohea is now wondering why he signed with the Tigers last year.

I'm not a big Barba fan either, if its true and he has signed then we obviously won't be chasing RTS, who I and most Tiger supporters would prefer.
@MF, Barba has served his time already

obviously you'd prefer RTS but they may not even be an option, i personally think he'll stay in NZ either with the warriors or in yawnion
barba looked pretty awesome against castleford the other day, he still has good footy in him if you're willing to take the inherit off field risk that he comes with, which atleast serves to drive down his $ value

He should have been asking that last year whn a week after he signed they were chasing Watson.

That is a shit side, can the Tigers possibly get themselves out of the bottom 4 this year? Highly unlikely with that bunch of nuffies.

I know the Broncos have two trial games on this week. I'm assuming the Tigers have the same and this is merely their B or C team.

We have a few of our better forwards being rested due to injury. Alex Twal and Elijah Taylor will improve the pack.
In theory that is a full strength backline though. All other contenders named on the benchbor in reserve grade

Watched both trials-Corey Thompson has been a revelation and I personally thought he'd be lucky to make the NSW Cup side
Still figuring Lolohea gets the number 1 though and Thompson the second wing? Marsters and Milne will he interesting-both kicking with Lolo off. Marsters has been strong but Milne was playing second row last week and looking for ball.

Cleary stated that Lolohea knows what he needs to do to be number 1, basically he wants him to shed some kilos

So errrrr what do we think? Godinet a surprise but McIlwrick was very average in the trials. Where the fuck is Aloiai, not named in Ressies either. Our run on Second Row is weak as, we need a bit of mongrel out wide off the bench and MCK doesn't provide that.

Aloiai must be injured again, there’s no way he’s not in our best 17.
