Remember our poster Vanish. Has he been on here lately because I'm playing him in L1 & he has the captain on CS9 & the vc on Haas. Does he still play because not changing his captain & vc suggests he doesn't.

Can't believe I missed it two years in a row.
Last year I just didn't think he'd get enough games.
This year I wanted on but was making other more important trades each week. By the time I was ready to get him, the news that Peats was 2 to 3 weeks away came that week, so I didn't.

Panthers fan on Reddit was saying that they kind of bent the rules by putting Katoa as a bench 2RF/lock which meant they had no other HOK in Egan's absence. Once Egan is back though, they can't get exemption to play Kenny ahead of Egan as he is out and out HOK, unless they upgrade Kenny to top 30 contract
It kind of makes sense now why Kenny played 80 minutes even during the 7 minutes Katoa was on the field. yeah unless DWZ signs elsewhere we might not see Kenny again barring injuries.

IMO, there's no way they give him 80 minutes in the 9 last night if there aren't already wheels in motion that results in him being upgraded to the top 30 within the next week or so.

Hopefully Rein goes bang this week and sits on the bench with a low BE making residual cash while Bateman drops in value. Cash so tight, every dollar counts

I think I saw a post from him either here or on Facebook. If it was here he must have a new handle.
Re last night’s game. Milchy, I wouldn’t be spruking about your Kenny selection over Brittain and having great JS, just yet, given he was a special exemption and is outside the top 30. The NRL are pretty strict on that and it’s why I avoided him. If he makes the top 30, I might bring him in later. He probably doesn’t even play next week.
Happy with JFH and Taupau last night. Even Garrick. But for the future.....Alas poor Garrick, he can go to hell Jumped from 844 to 461 with 11 to play. Here comes the famous Rabbit charge! I’m holding onto my hat. Welshy, you’re going to pay for those avatars

I read earlier somewhere that Katoa has been asked rediscover himself as a backrower/lock if he wants to remain with Panthers. Combined with the Reddit comment it makes sense that Panthers management are now selling Katoa as 2Rf/LOCK to NRL so if Egan plays next week he will probably play full 80 minutes.

Well done to the Martin holders and Kenny buyers.
Just on Kenny in any other year I think everyone would have been all over him but with Brittain(80min base price) and Havili(proven record) and Ivan's chopping and changing it was a ballsy move grabbing him.

As am I. Practicing a lot of will power not trading him to Brittain. He seemed burnt out last year after Origin playing less than 50 mins. He did acknowledge that post season so not sure how he will be addressing it (being rested more?)
I’ll play it smart and keep him unless any glaring injuries

I still have Xerri, Morgan and Farah as trade options.
Would like to hold Morgan and Xerri a bit longer, have already brought in Taupau/Havili this round

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 55
Just for everyone to see here are my R13 plans.
Basing this off Rein scoring 55 and Sivo scoring 40
Looking at these trades next week
Rein (with a score of 55) will be around 736K* to CS9 at 802K
Sivo (with a score of 40) will be around 538K to Bateman at 776K** not playing this week.
These two trades would cost me 304K, with a bank of 319K I would have 15K leftover.
Worth it?
* If Rein can score higher the better and closer the trade will be
** If Bateman returns this round its a big ask for him to score 78 on return so will surely lose some money this week.
*** Please note, trades may vary based on new cows/changed role to current players.

Rein and Sivo to CS9 and Bateman is an absolute no brainer.

Good post.
It was Milchys post that got me interested in Kenny, so credit where credit due.
Be interesting if he can hold the starting spot full time. Obviously Egan is due back, but he has been pretry unimpressive in the games ive paid attention to him.
Yes by all means we will see re job security, but his distribution looked gud.

That's three Raiders now this season that have returned incredibly early from their club reported weeks on the sidelines.
Can Havili last four weeks?

I'm looking at these same trades, but want McInnes rather than CS9. Will be a bit short in cash though, unless Bateman plays and drops cash.
If he doesn't play, i'll either need to wait til rd 14 to bring him in, or trade out Twal to McInnes this week before the last game.
