Like most, CNK will turn into RTS or TTurbo for me. RTS is way cheaper so it's tempting to get him next week or the week after but TTurbo is the better pick overall I reckon.

I think SJ is a liability in fantasy these days - too injury prone.

I think most people who own him would've been looking to trade him anyway. Could've held on for a cash rise or two but better to upgrade him to a keeper soon rather than later, I think.

There was potential JTurbo might not've backed up next weekend and Waddell could've had another game in the #13 but without that, I don't see him being worth much more than he will be when lockout lifts.

For me Bateman isn't so much about his round 12 points, its the fact that he's a gun and you need him moving forward. May as well get his this week and get the bonus of round 12 points, than wait until next week and be a gun short.

I'm waiting for my own team(and voted that way) because of final team funding. If he plays centre this week and scores 40 that price drop could well be the difference between having 17 or 18 guns later. I'd rather take the 40 point hit now and hope I make it up by having a better team later for it.
If money wasn't an issue then you'd be mad not to bring him in when you have spare trades.

RTS will play an extra game, remember. Do you think he will still score fewer points overall than TTurbo going forward?

RTS has 13 games to play
TTurbo has 12.

Let's say RTS averages 47 and TTurbo 50:

13 x 47 = 611
12 x 50 = 600

My thoughts, no way Bateman plays centre.

Last time Bateman played Ctr he still gunned it

Yeah man, I can 100% understand that in those circumstances. I'd argue that with the community team, the way the trades currently are, money isn't an issue tough. We've nailed down enough cash generation to get us 18. So now its a matter of getting that 18. Like you say, with the trades available, mad not to get him.

Seems silly. Rein will make 55+ tackles this week because the Cowboys have no creativity in attack (esp with Morgan out) and will just cart it up through the middle all day.

Mahoney made 59 tackles against the Cows two weeks ago. Cook 51 three weeks ago.

Would it be a bad idea to sell either Xerri or Dearden to jump on Bateman? Ideally I'd keep both of them to R16 and instead sell Mahoney to Bateman next week but I might need to do other things next week. Got $433K ITB so if I sell Xerri, I have 107K left and if I sell Dearden, I have 7K left.

Who to sell for Bateman out of Xerri, Twal, Arrow, Murray

Xerri has a bit more money to make, plays round 16
Twal is just about peaked, scoring pretty decent, plays round 16
Arrow is a gun, doesn't play round 16
Murray is a gun, doesn't play round 16

I don't think TTurbo goes missing in games like RTS did last week. I doubt Turbo scores anything like a 15 tbh. The difference in price might sway me to RTS, though.
