Scans revealed Tim Grant suffered a grade 2 (partial tear) pectoral injury last night. Unfortunately the Panthers still expect this to require surgical repair. If confirmed at Grant’s review with a specialist on Monday, usual recovery time is 10-14 weeks in the NRL

Feel like my team is stagnating while everyone else's is going to rapidly improve in next couple of weeks, though I'm lucky I've gotten to this point with a high rank.

You going to not pick up Dearden. I don't have him as well (which looked like an OK decision before his 50+ last week) but he's high on my list because it looked like he was taking a greater role in kicking and has high job security and negative BE.

I think I'm leaning towards grabbing McInnes before Bateman simply due to McInnes low BE for a keeper (35) and then plug the gap 1 last time with Xerri v Eels or Lomax v Dogs and then hopefully be able to do triple gun in R14 and one cash out

Well funny thing. I drunkenly traded out Dearden to Mann last week so would feel kind of stupid bringing him back in.

That makes sense. I could go cow and CS9/Bateman R13 and then R14 grab a couple guns and a cow? Not sure, next few weeks will be telling to see if i start going backwards or forwards in ranks.

The BIG question is, will Bateman wear a mask?

I only bought Farah in last week.
Do I give him another chance or should I cut my losses and get Bateman for him.
If I hold Farah then I'll bring in Bateman for Sutton or Young next week.

Yeah I remember you saying. To be fair I was picking between Dearden and Mann (and settled on Mann) before Arrow got injured and had to reverse and so I think I'm without HLF cover after selling Carty, so grabbing Dearden makes sense. Just hoping the prices and points fall my way over next 2 weeks (particularly CNK and Mahoney as Tolman and Rein should meet the target I was testing with with lower BEs)

He played fullback the entire game.

He was pretty active. He was first down field on alot of kick-chases, and in general he made alot of 1st tackles in the set before running back to fb. The dragons also defended on their line a lot and he followed the ball and got into heaps of tackles on the try line as well.

Its gotta be a record for a fullback.

If the Dragons continue to be as woeful as they were, then yeah, its hard to see where more points will come from.

Lomax would be very good in another team. Poor old dragons dont do 2nd phase ball

Busy day at work, haven't been keeping up. Just going to grab Billy and Batman for Xerri and Lomax. Will have to find another cow or two around 16 to get a good 18th. Not enough space to grab Havili, big game from Rein means I can grab Smith and McInnes next week... Going to be close, watch me be 10k short lol

Hmm Farah to Bateman sounds possible for me.. Being his last year means they're probably going to keep grooming Liddle. They'll both lose cash when they play, so cancel each other out. Plenty of cash in the bank to get in CS9 for Rein next week too.

With those averages I'd go Tapine. Im just not sure he goes back to a 50pt scorer immediately, it sounds like he is going to be eased back into things a bit.
