Right I need a half, fuck that was an oversight. Thinking Milford or Pearce as everyone traded in now stays around for keeps.

Rein ---> KBrom
Waddell ---> Bateman
12 trades and $390k in the bank.
CNK ---> RTS next round and one other trade.
Then I've just got Havili to a keeper when he peaks and I'm good.
Best laid plans of mice and men...

Out of the two you are looking at Pearce for me LB. He is determined, does not want origin and happy where he is at the moment.
The one fly in the ointment is Levi being injured. His improved performances coincided with Pearce hitting his straps and going on a try run of several weeks.

Cheers for the thought mate. Will have Mann next to him for a while so will do plenty of work.

Many of us will be looking at RTS, Mickspicks. I believe he plays Storm next. Bellamy will have a plan to nullify RTS as other teams have done recently. He may be oodles cheaper
the round after if you can hold. Of course the problem next round is Ponga backing up if he gets thru origin unscathed and who you have to cover that unfortunate series of events.

Good scores and especially ranks being posted by many and well done.
At the other end of the scale to maybe help others get by with their scores. My 9 players give a score of 611. Rank moves up from 9227 to 6651. Yeah it's not been a good year so far but if I get trades right for round 16 I reckon I can move into the top 4000.

Looks like I have enough cash left over for a Sivo > RTS after this week. That's a nice thing.

Coming 1009th despite not planning for the bye round. I'll take it as I thought I would drop more.

Any news on DWZ? Hoping Kenny can be promoted into the top 30 squad meaning I can cash out young to him. Also any news on DBrown....Held him all this time hoping he would be back for the Rd12 bye week, wasn't to be.
Btw lads, some smashing scores this weekend, how good. Hope one of the fanatic lads win it this year.

For trade ideas, here is a list of everyone averaging over 50 that plays R16
Cameron McInnes
Cameron Smith
Andrew Fifita
Robbie Farah
Anthony Milford
Kenneath Bromwich
Ryan Matterson
Briton Nikora
Alex Twal
Mitchell Pearce
Luke Brooks
Plus maybe Andrew McCullough.
These guys could be considered keepers , some more borderline than others.
Anyone else you trade in has to be traded out again afterwards (or be a cash out that isn't required for your playing 17)

I reckon I might bring in Nikora you know, he's gone under the radar

latest i've read on DWZ is that there's a player swap in the works with the Tigers for ET and/or Packer, which would not be helpful for opening a spot for a Kenny promotion.
EDIT: should probably stress those are rumours, it's been quiet as far as any credible or official reports go.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
Does the bye round screw with the magic number and make the pricing more volatile? Lots of players easily beating their BEs but dropping in price
Happy enough to basically tread water this week at 1029. Playing for H2H so only used 1 trade this week. Have 9 for 16 so hopefully can just focus on my final 17/18
Well done to all you legends killing it. I reckon I will join you in going hard at the byes next year and going for a better rank overall. Pookus has inspired me with that effort. Rabbit charge dominating. I personally hope the fantasy gods conspire for MTB to win the whole thing

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
I have a few guys sitting at awkward prices.
Young
Martin
Whitbread
Xerri
Don't think Martin, Whitbread or Young are gonna gain much anymore.
Not sure what's gonna happen to them

A lot of high value players not taking the field due to Origin skews the number a bit

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
Just to illustrate it, here is the progression of the Magic Number so far this year
14252
13858
13937
13438
13697
13494
13413
13564
13166
13701
13495
11057
On a points per game basis, this round was actually the highest scoring all year (1292 fantasy points per game compared to an average of 1199 for the first 11 rounds)
Just over $14m per game on the field though compared to the usual $16 brought the MN crashing.
This has happened many times in the past, and will happen again
