Whetehr an origin player is named in the starting 13 or in the extended squad, it means fuck all at this stage of the week. Reading anything into that is silly.

James Roberts at 474K is a weird price but has previous pedigree and one of the best attacking teams in the comp.
Joe Tapine is a big one. Could be a massive POD to help the season... however not being R16 sucks. Under 400K and could see 60 minutes easily at Lock.
Taupau set for big minutes with a bench hooker, back, Prop, Prop.
Hunt named in the reserves also.

I would have thought most would just expect the origin players to be named in their respected positions for the majority.

What do you expect teams to do. They are being asked if their origin players are OK to back up from a game that hasn't been played yet.

Even if they have an idea of what they want to happen, every single team will assess their decision after the game Wednesday night

Hey. Stop being rational. Taupau and big minutes don't go together

If I were looking for a downgrade, I'd look at Staggs. Could wait a week on Kerr but I've already got Brittain so don't want 2 duds long term. Staggs at least has the centre locked down all year.

This is my plan. As I may need Sivo for WFB coverage in case Ponga cats it. I will do one trade now (Young > Dearden). I will have to wait till Sunday to see how the Rein/Peats scenario plays out. If Rein is starting HOK he stays and Tolman goes for McInnes. If Rein benched he goes for McInness.
I'm not ready to say bye to Tolman just yet though

McInnes has played plenty of lock. Not sure why Mary wants a bench hooker, but there is simply no reason for McInnes not to play 80.

Maybe I should just say Yee-Ha and bid farewell to Rein. He has serviced me well and made me the coin I needed. One more 50+ score puts him over the 700K mark though.
