I can understand it in club games but I just don’t get it in Origin. The passion is too much for me I think.

I could wax on about how wonderful Queenslanders are but I'd just like to mention my avatar, the great Sam Backo. I was too young to remember too much about him but one of my first origin memories was him crashing over and scoring a try from dummy half, I think to win the game. I used to cut out the best origin stuff from the paper and paste them in a scrap book. The headline in the Courier Mail was, from memory: Wham, Bam, Thank you Sam!

In magic round (was there for the Sunday), I tipped Warriors and Roosters to win giving me a perfect round with Rabbitohs/Cowboys to play. I had no problem in tipping Rabbitohs and cheering my tits off for the Cowboys. Would much rather the Cowboys had won, but happy to take the ten points.

I appreciate it as well. The girlfriend saw tonight how salty I do get after a lose though. I tried hard not to let the car ride home be too miserable but she could tell I was grumpy haha

Wighton = rabbit in headlights. How does he let that pass go.
I thought Nsw should have tried going wide early a couple of times in the 2nd half, looked a chance out there.
WD to QLD, gr8 resilience and deserved win. I just don't get how any coach thinks Klemmer 52 straight mins is ok, so amateurish.
Aside from a penalty, Haas was gud, don't forget his defence / tackles were crucial at times.

Before you mentioned players that are quiet for their clubs but lift for origin & you were talking about Gagai. Well back in the day Paul Sironen the Australian & Balmain 2fr was like that. His club form was nothing spectacular but whenever he played for NSW &/or Australia he was a beast.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 57
So after last nights game these are the players I think that might get a rest:
Cook - his game involvement, defensive effort & big runs from dummy half I'd imagine he'd be a prime candidate for a rest.
Tedesco - someone mentioned he had a rib problem so if it is bad enough he will get a rest. If he's fine I think he'll play.
Ponga - word going around they decided before the game even started that they would rest him but I don't think he over exerted himself last night so I reckon he'll play. Plus the Knights need a win.
Munster - The Storm travel to NZ so he might get a rest but I'd say after his performance he'll want to play.
Klemmer - similar to Ponga I think a rest was pre-planned so I think he will get a rest.
Any other players you could add to the above list.

Cook - rest 99%
Tedesco - 50/50
Ponga - Rest
Munster - rest 99%
Klemmer Rest - 90%
Nobody cares about anyone else.

I missed the Teddy ribs thing. I was actually thinking about trading him in this week.
