Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 59
I hope they fix it because it's unfair to those that planned for it. But it might actually advantage me. I'm lucky to have two fit halves and can use my trades elsewhere while others deal with ARey, Dearden, Carty, Taylor, Morgan etc.

There weren't any problems in RD12 were there?
I jumped straight in and traded away.
Yeah I don't think there was, I think only the fact you needed to confirm 2 trades before doing 2 more

I've currently got Smith, Fifita, Matterson, Nikora, Lomax, Twal, Finucane, Crichton(?), Staggs.
Looking to add Milf and McInnes, with a few cash outs likely aswell

This is the same round we got extra trades in last year. They haven't changed the written rule.

I absolutely need it otherwise my team is going to fall into obscurity and miss all the gun players. I got Mahoney, Tolman, ARey, Garrick on the immediate chopping block and then JFH, Havili, Dearden and probably Munster that need to be gone by R16. My team was looking close to be finished with 2 likely gun HLFs and now Munster isn't looking close to a gun and ARey is injured as always

Not sure about top tier but he's a solid bench option and covers R16 (in which he will likely goal kick with Latrell out and Lam probably unseating Hutchison).
As for final 21, my goal is this, with 13 trades left to make it happen (* on guys I don't already have)
Cook
Fifita, Haas
Jurbo, Murray, Lolo
Munster, SJ*
Nikora, Bateman
Teddy, Ponga, RTS*
CS9, TKO*, Friend*, Wighton
CNK, Xerri, Staggs, Nuff*
I reckon Friend will be a massive POD option when he comes back from the bicep injury.
I think you can aim slightly higher than that side with that many trades left, but I do like the flexibility of your bench
I will have Smith, McInnes, taupau and keep Farah if he pulls his finger out soon enough
SJ is a good option but won’t you want DCE there? I’m waiting on him to bottom out himself. SJ burnt me with his injuries in the last so I doubt I’ll go there again
And your mate Wighton has done well but you could eek out another 10+ points by turning him to McInnes

I hope they do too. Im so far out of contention it doesn't matter to me, but Im sure many, if not most of the top ranked teams have planned based on the stated rules, to change things now would be completely unfair. Fucken useless.

I’d be surprised if we don’t get an answer today about what’s happening. This isn’t a missed tackle or TB not added. It’s proper season changing stuff

How likely is it that they fix up the trades so we get the four we are meant to?

He's been on my radar for a while. Gone cold on him the past month or so though. Was going to bring him in now but with Havili getting DPP 2RF and me having the cash to get McInnes, it's a no brainer who I bring in.
When I upgrade Havili, he'll be an option.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 59
Are people just sucking it up and playing Havili another week?
Looks like 35 to 40 is what we should expect from him, and it seems he'll only start one more week anyway.
We forgot that with moving to hooker he wouldn't get the run metres he was getting off the bench as a forward.

If last year is any guide then if enough people move him to the bench he'll crank out a 70.
He's a decent loop option though up first game if yoy have someone like Brittain or Dearden.

I pegged him for those kinda numbers to be honest - based on his output from last year. From memory he nabbed a couple tries last year which I wasn't sure was sustainable.
I personally think if you can find a way to get another gun in there you should.
Probably the key question though is, do you need the 50 or so K that we hope he will make in the next two weeks or not.
If you can live without, and you dont have anyone better to trade out in your team, it would be magic if you could bring in a round 16 playing gun to sub for Havili's score.
