    Haha 16th man.

17th man will be a loop between CNK and Xerri

Yeah was gonna suggest that too, but thought maybe LB was running with Brooks and Ponga at HLF and wanted to get Ponga down to WFB.

Milf and Brooks is definitely good enough and WFBs I assume are like Ponga, Teddy and RTS?

SJ playing the bye, but 100k+ saved and would take a HK over HLF in the 17 for sure. Plus SJ's injury and late scratching history.

    Yeah mate spot on.

Was keen on another RD16 body but hey can't be too picky I guess.

    For sure mate

Fainu would get me a 50-55 scorer and allow me to make Cook and literally anyone else affordable., likely DCE/TTurbo for halves/wfb

The extra cash over SJ would also aid any injury induced trades for the run in

Understandable, just weigh up extra R16 points and price etc

All about extra overall points now so at current averages, for example someone like McInnes is a better trade in than Cook, plus you get R16 points which is a big booster

    McInnes 11 * 58 = 638
    Cook 63* 10 = 630

Having Dearden, Brittain and havili have really stunted the growth of my team. No real cash generation coming from the nprs. Really fucked me good and proper.

Still have Xerri, cnk, Mahoney and Watson in my 17. All players I’d like to upgrade. With only 145k and 9trades remaining. Considering cnk and Dearden to 212k and Brooks. But that kills off another spot for cover. Anyone else in a similar position?

I can go Farah to Munster in one trade and seal up my HLF's for the year but I'll have exactly $0 in the bank and one less R16 scorer.

Liddle is 100% going to keep eating into his minutes and Farah is only going to go back to gun status is if Liddle is injured which nobody should ever want.

I never really felt keen on dumping Farah until after R16 but at the rate he's losing cash something might have to be done sooner rather than later.

Surely better off waiting till post origin? Farah playing and losing cash could still work out better than Munster potentially missing games?

Yeah with 45s, Farah only loses a few k , that could be invaluable for R16

    Hmmm true true.

Right now I'm at 15 keepers and my HLF's is one spot lacking. The only person who inspires any confidence is Milford but I have shit all cash generation going. Some creative thinking ahead that's for sure.

Havili's BE is 18 so hardly worrying. Can wait at least a week.

Dearden can go now, or you hold and use as a red dot until he returns around Rd18.

Britain was always going to be only 1/2 weeks. I would wait and see if Cook gets a rest post Origin, as his return game after Game One wasn't great.

CNK the most pressing. Then Havili, then Mahoney. Xerri may be a bench keeper and Watson making great cash.

What are people doing with Zac Lomax?

I want to keep him even if he doesn't play R16 because he's the perfect DPP cover in my EMG's.

I am in dire need of cash though. Only DPP options that could replace him free up barely any cash.

Ponga is going to 100% BE rested after R16 with a two day turnaround so I need a WFB for sure. David Fusitua maybe?
Hope he gets a try in R16 and be glad I can field a full 17 the next round.

Far out it is getting dire for my team.

Didn't realise the price on Fusi, Isaako reaching that cheapness also, 2 tries between them this season. Wowsers

I'm keeping Lomax and hoping he does a Brimson and thumb heals in 3 weeks. From the Friday he had surgery will be exactly 3 weeks to the Storm game round 16.

Well 2 weeks and 6 days as I just realised it is Thursday night Dragons play Storm round 16.

I 100% agree with Fittler dropping Latrell. There's no place for lazy in s.o.o. Sure he might score a try with a bit of brilliance but what's the point if he's the cause of 2 tries. When you watch his game 1 mistakes what stands out the most was his lack of urgency to get back & defend, while all his team mates were scrambling & sprinting back to defend there was Latrell slowly jogging his way to help defend. When you look at Latrell in pre season games you look at his body shape. Compare his body shape last year to this year. Last year he looked trim so he was fit so he was hungry. This year he looks a bit heavier & he doesn't look fit so he's lazy.

Amazing 18th man and potential top 17 player for peanuts!

Risk for the trade lites, you should be fine mate

Im not sure its even possible to be able to afford such a player as 18th man anymore. Cash generation really got stunted over the last few rounds with guys like Dearden, Xerri, Lomax, Havilli and probably more all making less money that reasonable projections had them at.

Any team I've taken a close look at will now be sacrificing somewhere in there final 17 or 18 by the looks.

Just a word of warning to those thinking of getting an SJ/Fainu/Koroissau type player. My guess is they will be in your 17 for the season, rather than your 18th man - unless of course you are sacrificing guns in your 17.

That said, SJ has probably firmed as a pretty popular buy now for a number of teams (as a result of the cash generation problem highlighted above). I think he's a solid buy now after next round. That said, unless you are wanting to go all in on him, I'd leave a trade in spare. This guy is highly likely to get injured again before the season's out IMO.
