For everyone struggling for cash and looking for cut price final 17 players, here are a few cheaper options that aren't really getting much talk here but might be worth a punt
Jarrod Wallace $641k - Last 5 average of 52.4. No Arrow or James around means its not a big ask for him to keep getting the workload
Jeremy Marshall King $607k - Seems to have the hooking spot all his now. Lichaa could come back at any time. But last 2 scores of 73 + 63, with a last 5 average of 52.8
Adam Blair $553k. You can stop laughing now, but he averages 47 as a starting lock. Will he keep hi starting lock spot? Who the F knows? If you are tight on cash then why not have a punt.
Viliame Kikau $590k. A lot of people here have ditched him,. but he has shown glimpses recently of being back to form. Panters have a lot of Thu/Fri games in the rin home, so a good loop option for those that can set up for it
Josh McGuire $583k. Has bottomed out in price after an injury effected 6 a little while ago. Other than that, his lowest score since round 1 is 42.
James Roberts $502k. Don't waste trades on centres yadda yadda yadda. But scores of 40 and 58 since moving to Souths.
For those thinking of Nofoaluma - AJ Brimson is cheaper (although Nofo has an extra game thanks to R16 bye)
Add Fotuaika to that list at 571k.
5 game average of 48.8

And like you I thought about Marsters but his recent scores are not great and Xerri could do just as well who I already own. So may just keep and strengthen elsewhere
It is sideways indeed. Marsters a bit more of a proven gun and would still feel more comfortable with him in there over Xerri, even though they will probably average similar, weird.

Bateman is the obvious trade but I need to be more creative so hoping for Sharkies to up it on the run home

Bateman close to a must have mate but yeah if you can't afford him just gotta roll the dice. I will probably have to play him in the second row that's why I'm looking for a POD centre.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 62
If Hunt, Vaughan, Sims, Frizell play origin 3 and Graham is still injured and Lafai and Lomax are out, who on earth do they field for rd 16? Something like:
1. Dufty
2. Pearson
3. Maranta
4. Aitken
5. Ravalawa
6. Norman
7. Field
8. K Sims
9. McInnes
10. Latimore
11. Host
12. Leilua
13. Lawrie
Robson, Kerr, Timm/Allgood, Pereira
Any advances on that? Any chance Field doesn't start and Kerr doesn't make the 17?

Keep an eye out for Kane Bradley. He is not eligible for NRL at the moment but he will become eligible later on in the season.wolfking wrote:
Yeah I love him as a player. His spot is pretty secure now I think.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 62
Cook
Fifita, Haas
Jurbo, Murray, Tolo
Munster, Ponga
Tedesco, To’o, CNK
CS9, AFB, Havili, Kenny
Staggs, Turner, Brittain, Horse
12 Trades, 208k ITB
I’m honestly feeling kinda stuck at the moment. I need some decent cash generation in order to sort out my WFBs (probably by getting a half like SJ and moving Ponga down) and bench. I didn’t trade Horse out because he still has plenty of cash to make and possibly could be my 18th man if I get desperate. Any thoughts?

Also 60's and 70's as well. It's the average that matters isn't it? And more recent form too? A punt to be sure though.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 62
So i need Mann and Havili to make up 84k worth of ground on Cook over the next 2 weeks, it will be tight, hopefully Brittain finds his way onto the bench in R17 to give Mann that extra week to get it over the line, worse comes to worse i can trash Brittain or Verrills for a nobody to get there, but 3 trades and no 18th man for the run home is scary enough, let alone facing it with 2 trades.

This will be a good way to advance the thread when there's nothing else to talk about
