Hi guys, there was consensus from everyone that contributed as to the plan this week (and next) the only thing that was not decide was who we would cash out Havili too.

The team for round 17 (post 16 and 17 trades) will be:

    CS9
    Fifita Haas
    Lolo Murray Taupa
    Brooks SJ
    Nikora Bateman
    Teddy RTS Trbo

    CM9 AFB SST Watson

    Ponga Staggs Brittain Cash out

So you are voting for who that cash out will be.

The week after Watson becomes Cook.

If Walters is benched, what about Earl. Storm playing a weak Dragons team. Can see him getting a few tries potentially.

I kind of like Coates because if there are major injuries at the Broncs he may be a player at years end.
Earl costs $29k more than the others and that $29k may be important next week or two.

Storm are first up, so its easy to reverse change on Walters if he doesn't start

Yeah, and I fear there might be two camps: 1 wanting a half and one wanting a winger, but the former is getting split, while the later is not.

I tend to think a half wioll likely score more points that a winger... but Coates I think is a slightly more prefffered pick because of the potential for him to retain his spot. Im not sure if that actually helps us though. Time will tell.

To be honest we really just need a bit of luck with whoever we pick!!

I had to stick with Coates because I'm thinking Teddy is a high chance of being rested next week against Cowboys. Latrell/Crichton dropped from origin, so could afford to rest Teddy/Cordner with Manu playing well at FB.

Taking a stab that Coates with 2 games can outscore the halves with 1 game. Even if Walters/Nicholls play next week, it won't help us at WFB if Teddy's rested.

Coates gives us some additional WFB cover for the future he sticks around, which I give him a better chance of doing over the others.. or a WFB loop option if not.

Ponga, Tom and RTS like a niggle every now and then, so could be valuable if there's some crossover with 2 of them injured.

My primary factor is $212k over $228k.

Next 2 week's trades could end up being very tight, and I'd hate to miss Cook by $10k just chasing a couple of extra points this week

Oh what? Are they not all the same price?

We absolutely need to go the cheapest option cause the 2/3 week plan has absolutely no wiggle room in it.

that $16k could be the difference.... SO without knowing whos cheaper I would absolutely change my vote to them cause it could cost us a trade....

Yeah I had to rush to check who was 228k, thought I'd made a mistake. It's just Nicholls that's not 212k.

Will do - Im thinking we might need a snap poll 1 hour before kick off to be honest as I think Kerr is a serious option if he starts and Walters may not be starting.

Thoughts guys? or if Walters doesnt start and Kerr does, should we just go with Coates?

Yeah, I just didnt add him to the poll cause he was listed on the bench. I think if he starts tonight he should be considered. According to a poster on the other thread he plays 50-60min in the lower grade. If he did that for SG tonight, he should score well. I'd probably vote him to be honest.

I'm still locked in on Coates with the long game in mind. I ended up with 16 players twice last year during non-bye rounds because of Teddy, Ponga and maybe someone else out. Had Brimson as cover, but still wasn't enough. Seen a few people only have 16 this year too.

Also possible Coates has the highest score this week if he jags a try and the others just have solid games. I'm banking on 2 games for Coates and the possibility that he saves us in a random round later in the season.

SJ also likes a niggle, so we'd have Ponga to cover him (when back), but then Teddy, Tom and RTS could go down for a 1-2 weeker too and Coates could emerge the better overall option even if he kinda sucks.

Walters and Kerr would only be 1 gamers, so they'd need to put up Munster or Vaughan type performances to feel worthwhile, but could be surpassed by Coates if we end up needing him for 2 or 3 games.
