You captained Fifi the week he scored 11, had no cover for Ponga's late withdrawal in round 15 and still play Keary despite his 43 HIA's this year. Your year is toast. You'll be lucky to finish with a rank of 4 digits. So here's your one last chance of redemption for season 2019. The Eliminator is a H2H competition with the winner of each match up progressing to the next round until only 1 team remains.
How does it work ?
All teams registered in the NRLFF FOG league will be automatically included in The Eliminator. The league rankings at the end of Round 16 will be used to cede teams.
Due to the number of teams, many will be granted a bye in the first round. The remaining will be required to compete in a qualifying round to make the final cut of 128.
Despite fronting up for MTB's legal costs the forum was still able to afford a shiny new website to manage the competition on. However that's where the money ran out. So as with all NRL FF tournaments the prizes are something money can't but. Bragging rights and a bi-line under your avatar !!! (If only someone would sponsor us so we could offer more, we must be the only people Bryden's don't sponsor)
So what do you have to do ???
- Visit the website & find out who your match up is
- Sledge and bants before the round kicks off, may be even make an avatar bet
- Then eat humble pie or stick in to them depending on the result
- Next round repeat
Remember the winner gets the glory of 12 months of being identified as the NRL FF Eliminator champion.
Each week we will post the upcoming match ups and at the conclusion of the round the winners.
