Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 68
Happy TLT all and a good one for me With Tevaga injured last week and Ponga rumoured to return early, Ponga -> Tevaga was certainly looking like a dud trade. It might still be, but hopefully he plays in a non-injury affected game so we can gauge his likely minutes going forward. Tevaga and Crichton will have a couple of weeks to audition for my final 17 with the other one likely becoming Ponga.

I played a normal round earlier this year with only 16, was missing wfb cover, I’m glad I didn’t trade for 1 game. Just hold as many trades as you can now still 9 games to go

Yeah feels like the safer option. Just wish my team was better at this stage. Oh well it is what it is

Watson has a BE of 50. I predict he will get 40 points this week which is an 11k loss.Welshy wrote:
Papenhuyzen has a BE of 39. I predict he will get around 25 points this week which is a 17k loss.
If you trade Papenhuyzen to Fainu this week then you will have 196k itb
If Watson gets 40 points this week, he will be 621k next week. You could then trade Watson to anybody under 817k
Cook has a BE of 80 this week. Cook will have to score 68 points to be 813k. I think it is extremely likely that he scores less than 68 this week, especially after origin.
I think Papenhuyzen > Fainu this week and Watson > Cook next week definitely works
Also, how many trades do you have left?

Amazing mate!
This is what I wanted!
5 trades left, could....go Dearden - less to free up extra cash incase Cook goes bananas and Watson fall flat

I need Half cover for Ponga this weekend and a cashout, looking at Jerome Luai - any feed back would be appreciated/ trades not a worry.

Not a bad option.churg wrote:Thoughts on Yeo as 18th man?
He averaged 48 points in the back-row last year.
But this year he is only averaging 35.3 in the back row (excluding his injury game in round
I think it might be better to hold the trade if you don't have many trades left. But if you can afford to spend a trade on Yeo and still have plenty trades left then go for it.

I don't think it's necessary to downgrade Dearden.
And is your plan to sell Fainu in round 21 (or whenever Koroisau is back)

Yea that's the plan with Fainu ideally he plays longer because means i save a trade
Yea I will go with what you suggested, and if push comes to shove and they fail to cover the cash can always dump Dearden next week
Thank you

Yea right cheers mate. It's either going to be Dylan Brown (2 trades remaining) or Yeo ( 1 trade remaining) for 18th man. Thoughts? Cheers.Ben Marlin wrote:

I think just keep Dylan Brown and bank the extra tradechurg wrote:

Brown is averaging the exact same as Yeo playing in the back-row this year for 27k less

Anyone looking at trading out Nikora? I'm tossing up chucking out both Xerri and him because they haven't really impressed me much lately. Likely looking to bring in Burns, and possibly Fainu.

Nothing worse in this scenario than having cover in a position where you don't need it. IE having Burns as great CTR/WFB cover but having Fifita miss 2 weeks with Carrigan being his stand in
Well that's sold me. It's a tricky situation either way.
Having good depth in the backs could screw you if your forwards get injured. Likewise having bad depth could screw me for the short term rests/1 week injuries.
There's no ideal solution so might as well save the trades and let it play out.
