Friend is going to be cheap as chips next season the way that it is going. However that arm looms as a major danger signal if he does not rest it for some time. This is a problem as he is a tackle bot and fearless to a fault.

Your braver then me Beth. The Dogs can surprise with some gritty defence and Mitchell does go to sleep sometimes. Check out what happens in the Storm game tomorrow
remembering that Bellamy is resting his origin players. Robertson did this last year and the Roosters never looked back so something to monitor. I have him in my squad
but the big C will go on Teddy if I was captaining one of the chooks. Do you have Tedesco?

simply not worth the risk with guys like Cook, Lolo, Smith, McInnes, Haas all going over 60

Unless he banners the risk of 30-40 point captain vs just going overs just to MATCH the above simply isn’t worth it

Murray cheer Repaying the faith along with Nikora.

Hope that one dude traded Twal instead of Murray to Cook. Attacking stats are the bees knees baby.

Had a good feeling his minutes would be back up from Rd 18 on. Lesser minutes due to origin rather than finals prep 2 months out.

Good move from Mulvy too waiting a week on Ponga and playing Burns cheer

Also agree on this. MTs are -2 and TBs +3.

Pretty sure being stripped results in an error for -2, so the stripper should get +3.

I think the stripper should be rewarded but also that the rules need refining so that the only man who can can strip is the first in on a tackle in a genuine one-on-one... ridiculous how teams game it to peel away from two or three man tackles, and it's only going to get worse.

That's pretty much how it used to be, but people were sick of the grey area where a 2nd tackler really had no involvement other than placing a hand on the player at the end.

There's also the situation where the tackler down low falls off and the other tackler is able to muscle the ball away after holding on for some time.

Both of those resulted in penalties before and was kinda bullshit. I think fans want to see more strips in general as it can lead to quick swings in momentum and makes the game more exciting. In those above situations especially, having the game stop for a penalty and rewarding the team for a loose carry felt kinda backwards.

Players will be more conscious of what's happening when players drop off tackles as teams train more and more for it, so should figure out not to loosen their grip on the ball.

    Evolution of the game imo.

I don’t like the strip rule. Too much of a referee lottery. Too subjective by ref. They make so many wrong decisions already and this just gives them another opportunity to fuck up. A grand final could be won or lost on this. It’s a no from me.

Do you mean get rid of the strip altogether or just go back to the old rule? Getting rid of it completely would probably cause less fuck-ups, but I thought the changes this year have been for the better. The video ref would probably scrutinise the shit out of it in a grand final situation, won't always get it right, but should reduce subjectivity.

    Nice mate.

I'm currently 863/14c with Smith, Taupau and Fainu to play, need an average of 45 between them to hit the 1000 two weeks running

That was me and I traded Murray. Embarassed

I saw his score and just had a laugh really. Looks like a poor decision, I have made a few good decisions recently but my desperation to get in Cook made me make a rash one. Try not to get upset about these things as they happen in Fantasy but Fuck! lol!

955 with Smith and Taupau to play.

Currently on a live rank of 576 which I'm pretty happy with given I was 3321 after round 14

      Current date/time is Mon Nov 18, 2024 7:40 am
