Imagine having a week in and week out CTR who has base of 40 with upside to 80 odd. What a year of being spoilt by fantasy gods.

Due back this round from nrl casualty ward
Question is where does he actually fit in back 5 - winger is probably their weakest point with Pearson (though their whole backline has been disastrous recently)
As you say their backline are horrid. You would think ge gets a spot anywhere.
I'm personally hoping he's back this week.

I couldn't imagine having the trades to be worried about someone like SJ. Same with guys like Murray and Nikora who killed it this week after heaps of people benched or traded them.
I was actually quite jolly about this. I remember seeing Murray, Nikora and SJ either being traded or benched by at least 1-2 players around here and they all showed why they shouldn’t be. Mind you if I had the trades I probably would have dabbled in the idea also.
Having 1 trade left is a bit of a blessing in disguise. Team is complete, cover is solid, EMG are moderate scorers. Might have to leave Burns as my final WFB and use Drinkwater in some looping business. He is getting involved just not finding those attacking stats. Takes it to the line a lot… just needs to show and go a little more and he will catch the defence off more times than not.

Re Teddy, Roosters released an "injury update" this morning that said all other players (other than Friend) are all good and available for next week, so hopefully nothing to worry about. I think they were actually icing his back?
Teddy just sore from carrying the team for most of the season. He'll be fine this week

It's been an outrageous year. I can't ever remember seeing so many 1000's week after week.lukeaye wrote:yeah I called the Nikroa stupidity. Him and murray were never under consideration to be offloaded.

I can't see any problem playing Burns every week even without a loop. He seems to get through enough every week to have a great floor.StormTrooper96 wrote:

Having two gun 2rf in your centers is so good. In previous years, we had to play center roulette and was a stressful exercise each week.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 72
It ridiculous that my biggest problem - aside from my terrible overall ranking - is I don’t have a reliable red dot for shenanigans. Being a rookie at this I didn’t get Brittain or anyone else to maximise R12 bye scoring, then for R16 went with Kerr, who has surprisingly found his way into the 17 now. Fifita will help me this week, but if everything stays as is I think having to guess my best scorers between 16-19 could be a bit costly.
EDIT:And just realised the sharks play first, that’s pretty unhelpful

I dunno where Lomax fits permanently, maybe wing? Widdop back R20 at FB, then Aitken and Lafai centres, and Lomax and Ravalawa on the wings.
Mary chose Maranta and Pearson over Pereira this year, who l thought was going ok, and has dropped and reinstated Dufty 58838274784 times, so not worth trying to anticipate.

Possibly wing when Widdop is back. Although he could slot into centre as Lafai has been atrocious.

Yeah Lafai was really good at the start of the year - that side looked way better in attack and defence - but has been terrible since returning for injury.

I'm just hoping the way they are travelling he should just fit straight back in there somewhere.

Has Fifita got any carry overs? I’m thinking he might have.

Lomax will fit in somewhere as he is way better than anyone in the Dragons backline. They are a shambles mess and need him in there somewhere. Personally I don't care but haha as I am still dirty I wasted a trade and traded in Lomax the week he broke his thumb and couldn't reverse when news came out. Then didn't even play the bye round so I traded him back out.

Nikora, Burns
Tedesco, RTS, Ponga
Smith, McInnes, Bateman, Brooks
Fifita, Maranta, Brittain, Coates
Anyone in that 17 out, I will probably be looking at using one of my last 3 trades.
Be nice if by some miracle Coates or Maranta got named.

If he takes the early plea it will be 180 pts meaning 80 carried forward
Edit: sharks website confirms Fifita has taken early plea

Oh well Fifita can have the week off and SST can come out of the emergencies and cover for the week.

Traded him in too that week mate. Couldn't reverse cause the player had played plus I used funds to get Teddy in and had him locked out as captain. He also didn't play that week hahaha.
I still have him though and perhaps will just keep him now unless he can get some worthwhile cash rises and the money becomes useful.

Fifi now a hold. Looks like I'll be playing Xerri. Yuk. Maybe Lomax if he's back.
