Captaincy doesn't seem to suit Pearce, he gets into running battles with the refs and it affects his game.  Wonder if Brown ever considered anyone less emotional.

seems like it's stopped on 55, which is a shame, seemed like such a no-brainer decision, i wonder how this will affect everyone's captain decisions moving forward, i'm already having thoughts of making the leap over to the steadily growing "C-Payne" bandwagon

imo with K-Nik out today it improves the attacking stats of RTS. There will be more room for RTS because K-Nik won't be running across the field crowding the outside men.

Lomax in my emergencies scored 25 I think I’ll take that as Coates doesn’t look like playing and unlikely Verrills scores better than that.

Well I thought Hunt knocked the ball on, I didn’t think they should’ve got the penalty.

I thought Burns pass was backwards out of the hands but floated forwards which is allowed.

I'm personally not too bothered by Captain Cook, obviously 60 was a bit better than 55, but you can't judge whether the other captain choices will blow Cook out of the water until they've played - we all thought Cook would easily account for Lolo's 57 and you're probably not going to lose out on more than 15-20 points if you own all the players based on how the additions work (if you own both and e.g Haas scores 70 you only lose out on difference which is 15 points)

In saying that, I think CS9 is going to have a field day. In the top 20 there was like 3 non-Cook captainers (Haas x 2 and Smith) so I'm not really fussed because everyone around me did the same thing

I reckon CS9 is gonna score low 50s tonight.
