Upgrade Mahoney is the only thing. Maybe NBrown. Id definitely save at least one trade until the final 2 weeks. I have 2 at the moment and will hold both

Thanks mate,my thinking also. Would love to bring Browny in,for some reason my mind is set though on bringing in Jurbo or DCE for Mahoney. Obviously would be my last trades though hence why I’m holding for now. Damn I wish I had more bank

Other option is you get his scores for the rest of the year if he doesn't break and then you'll be able to constantly give non-owners the shit by bragging a about bringing him it.
Surely you need to be saving trades so none of the above happens?

Legend status on the forum? Damn that sounds tempting. What a Face

    Cheers bro.

I can see why you’d be tempted to make a trade too but then you’d only have one left and with it having been a heavy injury toll this year I think you could need your two trades next week on.

Basically the same squad as mine, you have Moses and Mahoney, I have Cleary and Fainu with 4 trades. My plan is to turn Fainu, To’o and Carrigan into Twin turbos and a cashout.
You could cash out Carrigan and upgrade To’o but I’d wait a week or two before using my last trade.

Thanks for that mate, wow they sound like killer trades. Yeah that’s the path I will probably go down and pray for no injuries in the last 2 weeks or so. I’d kill for one more trade haha

What is making captaincy pick this year so difficult is the amount of scorers who are going over the 60 average mark

For years it's been pretty simple...CS9

Since Last year it was Cook then maybe CS9, Fifita/JTurbo if frisky then just punts

    This year its

Cook/Fifita/CS9/CM9/Taumalolo/Haas all going over 60 average which is bonkers!

Truth is you should be confident picking any one of them.

Unless one goes fucking bananas and over 75/80 you are losing 20 points max really

Go with your gut if that's what you'd do regardless of position.

I'm actually leaning that Teddy will do more with all those guys out, but he pretty much has to score a try and be involved in a bunch of LB/LBA/TA plays to really put up that captain score you'd be happy with. He's capable, so if you're confident that's the type of game he's going to have, go for it.

The nature of FBs though, he could have a very good game, score a try even, but still only end up in the 40s or 50s. Guys like Cook and Haas scoring 40s would probably be considered a bad game the way they're going.

Yeah it's his floor that's the problem. But I guess I'd be way more annoyed if say Cook went large and I didn't captain him vs Teddy goes large and I didn't captain him.

I’m pretty stoked about it, won’t lie!

Now for the mighty Jazz to score a 65-70 on Friday night would be great

Game on then lol, I’m having my best season so far in my third year, improved from 7000ish last year (just played head to head and didn’t bother with bye rounds) but this is the first season I’ve gone for both overall and head to head and I’m just outside the top 600 currently. In the last 5 weeks I’ve moved up about 500 places, I’m trying to maintain that now.

What I’m hoping is people run out of trades and that I keep holding my 4 trades for when I need them and from rounds 23-25 that’s when I could take advantage and push up hopefully into the top 500.

My aim is 500 but probably too far away with too many similar teams, whats your points total fella? See how many points behind I am!
