Think thats it. Not sure on rules but he may be able to go to another club and train with them (maybe play reggies??) but it's after the deadline, unless a club were to try get special consideration from the NRL.

I predicted him for top tryscorer in the bold predictions thread. That really didn't work out Lol

Sooks, probably comes from too many participation trophies being handed out.

    I am with you, I reckon he gets a respectable captains score 60-65 going at roughly 1ppm. I think Smith will go close to 1ppm +- 0.5 also this week with 48Tck, 2TB's, 1 OL, 1LBA, 1x40/20, 1TA, 115KM, 57MG, 4 Goals, 2FDO = 89 points before any negatives.
I think Smith will go 0.87 PPM (including negatives)

    Peats imo
Liddle will be back in the side before the end of the season

Leaning towards Bateman for the C. His form the last 3 is over 70 and against the Warriors surely goes 55+.

DCE also tempting me against the Knights who are all over the place at the moment.

Both choices are massive POD picks and I don't really have anything to lose so YOLO.

I think its over. I don't think teams are allowed to sign anyone now, for this season. If released I guess he'd sign elsewhere for next season, and play ressies to end this year?

Can't even play ressies. The deadline goes all the way down to junior league. He'd have to go to England for 6 months.

There are positives all round for Ramien here.
    - sign somewhere that isn't newcastle  Laugh
    - early and extended end of season trip.
    - won't partake in mad monday, therefore can't eff things up
    - get the jump on everyone elses pre season. be a beast to start round 1 2020

My first centre picked for next season Laughing

I would rank the captaincy options
    1 - Haas
    2 - Smith
    3 - McInnes
    4 - Taumalolo
    5 - Bateman
    6 - Cook

White Lightning wrote:So the Roosters have a couple of interesting options:
    (1) Verrills starting hooker again & he played 80 minutes last week. Is he a risky pick with half the pack out & does Radley go back to hooker when the Roosters are back at full strength meaning Veriills is a no pick.
    (2) Radley starting lock last week & scored well. Does he stay at lock when the Roosters are at full strength.

Any Roosters fans know what will happen. Cheers.

Hey mate - We want to keep Radley at lock. Verrills will be playing majority of the time there, a few lads are not sure if he can keep up for the 80 minutes at hooker. He might be like Mahoney and score a 15-20 minute break along the game with Radley covering in that time.

It seems like a very stringent protocol so fair play, but after seeing him twitching on the ground last week I was hoping they'd still give the week off.

Am I the only one who thinks he has been one of the strongest players all year?

Whenever he gets the ball he has been tough to handle.

Ponga usually send most of the play left, so does pearce, so pretty harsh to drop him based on their very predictable strategy.
I too would be furious over being dropped if I had played as well as he had.

Knights are in big trouble I would say.

My guess is he signed Feb 2018, before he got a regular start with the Sharks, and once he did never really wanted to go.

Payne has never played the Storm before and I'm sure they will be targeting him tomorrow. I'm not sure if he's the best captain option this week honestly.
