I really like Turbo priced at 687k. Are you going to have pap in your backline as well though cause I feel that pap is a must have.

Yeah Im thinking my backline will be turbo pap and Isaako. Does that sound alright?

Sounds great! I think you should get Brimson instead of Isaako if you dont already have brim in the halves

Yeah that's the only real downside sometimes you just gotta hope for no injuries

He is a steal at that price, I am gonna take the risk. His bad luck has passed, hopefully this is his year. Also, he will be a cheeky POD for the first few rounds.

Although I would expect him to be up around 30% ownership so not so much a POD.

Turbo never averaged over 50, goes bananas every year and gets injured. Hard pass from me

Turbo’s performances might depend on how Levi gets on. Turbo was electric when Fainu was running from dummy half and opened up game for him to get easy line breaks etc

I wouldn’t rate Levi amongst the best running HOKs but he’s okay

Absolutely ran amok in a few games mid-season, but yep, very average each side of that.

Yeah, that's why I've only got him at around 30% ownership come Round 1. Great price for his potential, but some will be gun shy. For me, I don't think I've ever owned him for more than half a dozen games in 4 years so I haven't been burnt and that makes me keen to start with him.

Yeah, Thomson still the much better option over Nofo if the Doohickey rumours aren't true.

Doueihi one of four we are talking to and considering. Next week or so, spot 29 will/should be filled. Ones a Winger, Doueihi and the other two fullbacks.

Those that want to pick Tommy Turbo are you aware he has never averaged above 50? Career high of 48 in 2018 and had 3 separate injuries last year that resulted in missed game time? I personally don't see the upside when you will almost certainly be able to pick him up cheaper

I've had him in my team (across a few different comps) over the last couple years. Picking him is basically betting on him going injury free. After watching him hobble around for a couple seasons, and have a number of injuries (hope my memory is good), I wont be going anywhere near him to start the season. Origin is the kicker too. The only time I'd consider him is during the season if he is looking healthy. Way too much other value in the WFB position too. So much so I am not going to be able to fit them all in....

What are peoples thoughts on Zane Musgrove? his role, his minutes, his potential output? they type of person he is in relation to the charges he faced and how he may or may not fit into a team environment well??

TLDR - is there value in Musgrove?

I think its just a matter of time before TTurbo averages over 50. If you take out his injury affected games last year he averaged something like 52.
I wont be starting with him but will be keeping a close eye on him.
