Be sure to stay away from strange men at the Broncos game or you could end up being worn as a coat by Hench.

NW Wife: "are you still going to the football ?"
Me: "yes"
NW Wife "who you going with ?"
Me " Guys I chat with online, Matt is the only name I know, there's Milch, Krump & Bender and I'm No Worries"
Pretty sure she thinks I'm going to see a hooker

I did try to get extra tickets for the ANZ members area but they're not selling anymore until the game. Any other requests?

Cheers Honeysett. @Krump are they still seated? Tigers GA sounds good if they are. There is no Standing Room at ANZ anyway is there? Also chance of a shower to bear in mind.

Re: Standard's junket
I'll try and get there an hour or so before kick off.
At the Manly game we pretty much all got there after kick off, so wasn't much time for a relaxed chat, would be keen for a more leisurely beer.
I have krumps and SI's mobile numbers, if anyone wants mine just send me a PM and I'll see you guys at the game

Re: Standard's junket
Just to confirm:
Krumpy has bought the tix
Pre-game drinks at The Brewery underneath the Novatel
I have all phone numbers so if anyone gets stuck PM me (better on FB but will check here as well when I get there)
I'm leaving Woolongong in half an hour and back up to the Airport first, so I don't think I'll be there till 330. If I am early I'll head to the pub, otherwise will catch you motley lot in there

SI wrote:After 3 years of threatening to do it, the stars aligned in the draw this year for a League junket . Flights/accom booked for:
Rd 2
Leichhardt ; Tigers v the shit cunts
Four days at the folks house in Hervey Bay
Rd 3
Cbus; Tigers v the Titans (and 4 days on the Goldie with my kids)
Send kids back to Perth
Rd 4
Friday: Broncs v Cows
Saturday: Raiders v Titans at Canberra OR Legion Festival in Melbourne
Sunday: Dragons v Panthers (have always wanted to get to WIN Stadium)
Monday: Tigers v Eels, and then maybe down to Shark Park
Tough schedule but want to get to as many games as I can while I'm over there.
If any of you toss pots want to catch a game or a beer, or both, let me know
Back in Perth and fully recovered!
When I was planning this I really only hoped for 1 thing-that we beat those shittos at Leichhardt . Missed the first 20 due to our GPS sending us straight into George Street and met up with Bender and Milchy at the game; then pretty much missed the next 60 minutes as well talking Fantasy!
Great night getting the win that nearly resulted in my girls disowning me after I ditched them for the lads, and then proceeded to spend an hour and a half trying to find the hire car as I didn't take note of where the fuck I parked it. Rang Thrifty-"no, we don't have GPS in any of our vehicles." Wow, my tech savvy self thought that was a little archaic. Between myself and the kids we managed to find a trail of landmarks back to the general vicinity across from Balmain Road. Then walked up and down 7 or 8 streets pressing the unlock button to finally find it. Luckily the Nissan keys had a MASSIVE range, my Stato works from about 3 metres away maximum, this thing literally started lighting up 50 metres away, thank fuck for that as it was camouflaged by the other 83 white late model compact SVU's parked around it.
Tigers/Titans at CBUS was great, even with the result. CBUS is a very good footy stadium, even if the locals have never seen the inside of it...There were more Tigers colours then Titans and that is a sad indictment on League at the Gold Coast when the Stadium is schmiko and easily accessible and this is what, their 4th crack at keeping a team running in 30 years? Gotta say I was bit disgusted with that, under 10000 on a Saturday night with good weather and felt sorry for the diehard Titans supporters. Also felt sorry for my kids who had to put up with listening to Blaze and his drum. In saying that, and in hindsight, good on the bloke for his passion for the game, something sorely lacking there.
Sent the kids back to Perth after spending twice the cash I had forecasted on them at the Goldie in an attempt to get back in their good books. Was great to fly back up to God's Country after putting them on the plane in the miserable NSW weather . Broncs/Cows, wow! Good seats and an awesome atmosphere to start the game. Then the game itself! Had high hopes for this game and wrapped I got to it.
Skipped the Raiders/Titans game catching up with an old interest from school in Brisbane. Unfortunately the conversation somehow turned to my hobby of NRL Fantasy and that was the end of any potential action for your's truly .
WIN Stadium has always been on my footy bucket list and it was even better then I hoped. Just a lovely ground in great condition, and that view . Sat with a bunch of diehard Dragons supporters who ripped into Rein and DeBun and McCrone at every opportunity, hilarious lads.
The icing on the cake for the junket was meeting up with Krump, Your Name, Bender and Milchy at ANZ. Despite the result was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. A bunch of great blokes with the same passion for the game and Fantasy . Cheers for heading out lads . Hopefully there will be a few Fanatics catch ups in the future.
