Yeah and I held onto Burns last year way toooooo looong😡

I bragged earlier that I held Holland for one week and Edwards for two (I mean as braggy as one can be about making shit selections), but I held Burns until rd 8, I think I had other fires, but still a good call trading him out, wasn't even available for rd 12 as it turned out.

Decent shout mate. Like I was talking about with Keary v Flanagan, maybe we're looking in the wrong direction. If you're after one of those guys to use to trade up to Haas, could do worse. No James, new coach and defo Wallace benefited last time there was shortages in the Titans pack.

Yeah a decent shout. The bloke got moved around a little last year during games and throughout the season. Starting prop you think he plays 50 minutes plus he should be a decent shout to average close to 50 points a game. No James for the season, means he should be able to lock that spot up and be in for a big year.

Cheers fellas! He and Arrow will be the leaders of the forwards. Last off first on sort of deal. I can't see how he doesn't benefit and improve this year

Sorry mate, my point (which I got side-tracked on) was that the year before, I held Nathan Brown for an injury which was:

first half of season, likely to be two weeks (like 18 million weeks) or more. I learnt my lesson.

Interesting mate. One of them players was nowhere near my radar until 9s

Awkward price but if starting will grab him over Su’a or Lowe for sure in the same bracket.

He had only one start last season (lock, 60mins) for 55pts

And they say 9s has no value

Yeah thats why I am trying to go bargain basement for it and find value in other positions.

Just need a base price FRF averaging 30 per week, or close to it.

The issue I have with this is we generally don't get a lot of basement FRFs in the game that are worthwhile. It's also a lot harder to trade up if they're too cheap and if they end up not playing you're a bit stuck.

I got 50 odd pages (this thread and the last) to try and catch up on. Can anyone tell me, do I have a bet on with @rabbit or did lukeye take him up on that one?

Rabs, just so you know, I don't actually have an opinion on Souths making the 8 or not, I just liked the odds you were giving....

Someone that hasn't been mentioned after the 9s is Tino Fa’asuamaleaui

He is unlikely to be fantasy relevant this year, playing behind a number of regulars at the storm (look, that's probably why he hasn't been mentioned), but he looked twice the player from where he was 12 months ago. He'll be good. Would have been cool if the Titans could have gotten him up there this season.

He’s in 17% of teams, so is fantasy relevant as a bad but popular pick for many

The $50 on Souths not making the top 4 is already set with some sucker, at evens.

You still have the wonderful opportunity to take up the 3-1 offer of Souths not making the 8. I think you should take it up. The odds are fabulous.
