Question: They are all good value, but if you had to rank the following players from best value to worst value, how would you do it

Aubusson, Joey Leilua, Drinkwater, Bird, Brimson, Croft, Koroisau, Levi

Not really a stupid question mate. It's the new warriors prop Jamayne Taunoa-Brown who is 228k

Some interesting players there and a tricky list because I've gone a little cold on two of my favourites from that list.

I'm quietly mad keen on Bird, and I think Koro is basically a part of every single team for very good reason.

My next two would be Drinkwater and Brimson, but I'm a little concerned about both of their fitness. Both fit, I like both and think they score similarly.

Next, for me, would be Levi. I think that's an interesting prospect. Definitely won't be able to squeeze him in, but I'd love to.

I have no personal interest in the Aubusson, J.Leilua or Croft... purely a personal thing. Just can't see any of them really being great, though Croft would be my preferred of those three.

If B.Brailey is going to lose minutes to Tracy, who is the better 14-17 reserve hooker; Turpin (with Macca in the wings) or Levi (with no clear option at Manly)?

Anyone know how Hess went in the trial this weekend?

He seems to be running harder than 2019 (but how hard could that have been).
The real question for me is whether or not he gets the starting edge role.

I'm still pushing my connection to Peter Parr to find out Green's thinking regarding Hess / Wright, also H2O / Clifford.

Lomax doesn't appear to be attacking the ball at fullback, could be early season nerves, or only going at 80% as it's a trial, but he's definitely not on my must-have list for Centre anymore. I don't know if SCrichton will get the centre gig with the Choccie Soldiers as well.
You may need to re-jig your team to accomodate a gun/cheapie set-up in the centres.

Yeah, not bad mate, but after that trial, I'm not really any clearer on whether I take the punt and start with him or not. He didn't really get a lot of opportunities and the two tries were handed on a plate. But without those tries he gets probably around a 35 which isn't bad for his involvement.

I was getting worried on a couple of points though, in that Brooks being the somewhat dominant playmaker, they went that side a lot more than I expected. I would have thought with Lucy x 2 and Nofo, they might have peppered that side a little more. Saying that, there wasn't a lot of free flowing attack to really get that side a good run as it was a bit scrappy and of course just a trial game. Reynolds went that side a lot more than Walters, that was noticeable straight away.

THe second point that had me a little worried is if BJ would pass the ball to him enough. He seems to like running in more than continuing the passing to the edge. That one point in the second half where he ran it and didn't pass and then got taken into touch was typical BJ unfortunately. However, he did get Rapana a lot of points and tries so they could strike up a good combo.

Nofo didn't bust a lot of tackles but perhaps he was cruising slightly for a trial. Had a couple of nice offloads though and looked confident and keen for work. That lost ball from him had Curran's hand all in there however too.

TLT will decide if I keep him or not depending on cows and how the team comes together. I think his spot is safe though but we still have Doueihi and Momo to come back so we'll see.

Current team, would love some thoughts. Pretty cookie cutter. Is Walters good enough to be in the 17? If he loses his spot which is likely, Brimson can move to half and I can move wiliame in or alternative.

Not much talk about Hess anymore. He appeared in most team's after the 9's and now no more. Is Lucy a more desired option? Is he a better option?

Hey didn't exactly blow the Broncos away, less tbs etc. than Big Lucy. Also, his role isn't set yet, Wright is still a factor.

Maybe not but starting edge and moving to middle maybe a positive sign. It was to accommodate wright getting a run admittedly, but at least thought to be able to do that job if need

Having had half an eye on the trials, the ones who've played their way into my thinking who weren't really there before are the two Leiluas and Croft.

yeah so many 2rf around that 500 mark that I don't know which to choose
lucy, cartwright,hess, sua even knight when he gets his duel position status.
