Well I posted my image of my fantasy rank last season at end of season and was assured that it would be counted for this season and I’d be in about league 4.

I then posted very early on in the registrations thread with my image again of my rank very keen to get in and the rank was verified and image removed.

I feel I’m a regular on this forum as well and I love my fantasy.

Tbh right now I’m a bit mad and upset that I have to start in league 10, that’s just like a big kick in the guts that I have to start all the way down there.

If that’s how it has to be that’s how it has to be but it just upsets me I got told not to stress over it I’d get looked after and then this happened.

Anyhow I don’t wanna sound like a whinger as I know everyone is very busy with their lives and take time out of their own time to do this.

But if possible I’d really appreciate being moved up a bit higher than a beginners league as I’ve played this game going into my 4th year now!

Hey mate, I've sent you a PM explaining this, but in short it is a hard and fast rule that everyone starts in the lower Leagues for 1 year regardless of rank or community standing. This is because we have been let down in the past by some people not finishing out the season; we know you wouldn't do that but we have to apply it to everyone to be fair. If you were told you would be in L4 last year then whoever told you may have thought you were in the 2019 Leagues or it was an oversight on their behalf with our rules.

Sorry mate, I know how you feel, but it is across the board. We have other very good posters with very good ranks who are in the same boat being their first year in our Leagues

Think of it as an extra incentive to kick some ass this year! I actually think it's amazing how many leagues we have this year and I'm sure the competition will be close between all of them.

Focus on getting as high up in the Overall group as you can and the league ranking will take care of itself

You do realise that some people have multiple teams and can easily cherry pick their best result to promote or even screenshot at end of year.
That’s why there are leagues so it’s black and white with no shenanigans.

If you really want to play with the big boys I will swap with you.
League 10 has all the cool people anyways

Where did you rank end of last year? To be fair all the rules are set out in advance anyway.

and short and fast the leagues mean fuck all as they change every year depending on finish, just because you are in league 10 this year doesn't mean you can only move into League 9 next season

If it will help you and the other posters who are copping a lower League; the bloke who ruined it for everyone was an old Sportal poster called PhnomPenhPoets. Myself, Sebastian Tombs and KFP gave him the benefit of the doubt 2 years running, and 2 years running he destroyed one of our high Leagues rankings. So if you have a voodoo doll and a black nikko pen write his name on that bitch and go to town!

It doesn't look like FanHub are doing ranked Leagues leaderboard again this year, but you never know what they might surprise us with.
