"He did a good job captaining in the trials. With the rules you have to nominate two players who can make those decisions so with Patty to have 20 minutes off the field, I will go with the dual captaincy model for this game." - Seibs

Ive found myself in a situation where I can have Taumalolo and anyone up to 495k (tapine/hess/carty/etc) or pick up CS9/Cook and have Sua/brailey/stimson.
Hmmmm

Couple of players that I am considering as a tiny bit left field.
J Saifiti - keeps ending up in my team as a NPR, injury free and a full preseason under his belt. When he first came into grade he looked the better brother before immaturity and injury hit. Could be worth a little risk given his basement price.
Ponga - Will get a banner first game. He'll win the Dally M this year and will have a great fantasy year. He's going to be in my team at the end of the year and ultimately I want him in my side at the start, I love watching him play and don't want to see him put up big scores and not have him.
Keary - I just can't find a way to get him into my squad but he is set for a huge year. He has proven to be a gun without Cronk on the field and I think he will pump out huge scores.

Might be giving too much benefit of the doubt that CHN and Okunbor cared about the girls ages at the time.

Is there any more to this rumour about Burns being subbed later in the game to accommodate fatso?

Just your starting team mate. 4 man bench doesn’t count towards score

I was on Keary in both Fantasy and SC for the last 2 months, then I had a thought this morning in the shower, it wasn't related to NRL fantasy though.
Then this afternoon I was thinking about Keary again and realised something. Latrell won't be running off him anymore. How much of Keary's score was actually helped by latrell busting lines and scoring trys?
I have a feeling keary might score lower then we all expect, and he doesn't have GK. Now consider who will be running off moses.

Jack Bird Statement From Instagram -
Honestly don’t know what to say.. it’s like my whole world has come crumbling down.
I started my day confident, happy and full of excitement knowing that round 1 was just 2 days away. My body was in the best shape it had been in the last 3 years. It was also the happiest I have been in 2-3 years enjoying my footy and life again. People who know me know how hard I have worked to get to the stage i was at leading into this season, and with that, I’m truly heartbroken that I have to start this process all over again.
After 2 season-ending injuries in my first 2 years at the club it definitely hasn’t gone to plan and I’m sorry for that. I understand that a lot of fans are upset with me over the last few seasons but injuries are definitely something I can’t control. I pray that you guys stick by me through this tough period of my life.
I promise I’ll do everything I can to get back on the pitch for not only my self but for the club and the fans.
If there is one thing you don’t know about me it’s that I will never give up and I am resilient like no other. I know for a fact that I will be back.
I love you all, see you next season with a bang
*positive vibes only*
Poor Bugger.

Josh Morris running off him will make up for it, considering he will always give 100% where Latrell does not.

Just came out with another team... just about fucking over it all so I'd appreciate it if you went and checked it out. Last update I'll be doing. It's either that or the team before it. Apologies for the spam

Righteo now that I’ve had 20-25mins to properly sit down and think I have came up with my first well thought out draft since teams came out yesterday. It’s close to what I think I’ll run with just maybe a couple of changes or if anyone suggests better options.
As always all your lads thoughts and feedback is always greatly appreciated.
Please click on my team tracker link in the bottom left corner (I hope it works!)
I’m happy to give any of you guys advice too (in fact I’ll check out some of these teams in that thread right now!)

Looks like I am playing you in the L10 league this weekend. My advice is to change your team into entirely Warriors players.
